The staff was great!!! We went for a team meeting and they were very attentive and on point. Service was on point, seating was setup to accommodate everyone (15), and everything was with a smile. Food was very tasty and I’m very picky about my BAR-B-Q. GREAT JOB TEAM!!

We were in the area and found this place on maps. A little unsure when we first turn on to Ray Dr, but the restaurant is tucked away in the corner. Great atmosphere inside and super friendly servers. And OMG… the food was so good. Was so excited to see the fresh pork rinds on the menu and ordered them immediately. We try the Brunswick stew every where we go and I do believe it’s the best we’ve eaten so far.
If you’re in the area and hankering for BBQ, definitely swing by this little gem!

This place is awesome! I was feeling cranky, but when the waitress came and she was very kind and brightened up my mood. The food is absolutely delicious, especially the burgers. Plus, the pickles came cold and fresh- not warm and soggy. Even tho the wait for the food is a little long, the wait is worth it because the quality is near to perfect. If I could I would rate this place 100 stars.

First time ordering at this location. Came out in the storms to order take out. It was 6:30pm, so that may have contributed to the condition of the meats, but for $31 I expected a palatable meal and the meat was not. I ordered the Pit Master plate with 2 sides and added red beans and rice. All the sides were fine, but the meat – smoked wings, smoked sausage, and ribs were all dried out. Even though it was late in the evening, there was still 2-1/2 hours before closing and I did not expect meat that was barely edible. Not happy and will never get take out late in the evening from here again.

From walking into the front door you are greeted by the kind Staff. They made me feel at home and were very helpful. Our server was very nice and you can tell she was very genuine. I ordered the brisket plate with baked beans and fried okra with fried pickles and let me tell you that thing was smacking! The Brisket was so tender and seasoned very well. Thank you guys !

I’m so thrilled to share my experience with you! The food service was excellent. Although the ribs didn’t have the hickory smoked taste, they were still delicious and tender. And let me tell you about the Mac and cheese bites – they were so tasty! We also ordered the fried ribs, and oh my goodness, they were just excellent. The baked beans were different, but in a good way, and the potato salad was just out of this world. Overall, it was such a joyful and satisfying meal!

My Bestie and I eat there often not just because it’s right between where we both live, but because it is so yummy!! I’ve tried most of the menu already. Sometimes stick to my favorite pulled pork. Their mac n cheese is awesome. The service is always fantastic.
We’ve never had a bad experience or were we ever disappointed in the food.

We just discovered this place . I really like it, especially the bbq pork, fried okra, French fries and collard greens. My husband who is from Austin Tx was not fond of the brisket or ribs, asserting they were overcooked and not moist. I guess everyone has different tastes. The atmosphere was relaxed and our server was a delight.

Updated Review May 2, 2023: I decided to go on their first day open of the week and finally got to try their Melted Pimento Cheese Burger. It was very good and worth the wait…But it was the only dinner highlight. I did go in open minded and not holding a grudge on the stock issues I wrote about in my original review (even though they were out of other items today such as salads).
The Onion Rings were barely over room temp and a very small portion. I’ve eaten at several new restaurants lately and this was the least side of O’Rings I’ve gotten anywhere and they were small on top of that. There was also a hair under them.
The pulled pork was good but not the best around. The other side portions for Fries, Mac, and Green Beans was decent and all were good, esp the Mac N Cheese.
Service was a bit slow but our waitress was friendly as was anyone else encountered and they are helpful and responsive on social media.
Probably won’t return as it wasn’t our favorite for any of the items, except the burger, but it’s too tricky to score one of those. But we enjoyed the dinner and the food otherwise.
