Flo’s Cafe is a historic icon in the greater Chino area. It’s a favorite of locals. It serves the dairy farmers, the Aviation community of the airport, and folks who just like good home cooking good food. They have daily specials. To split pea soup is really exceptional. Stop by and give it a try. You’ll become a fan too.

Came here just for the pies and we definitely left happy customers. Loads of great pies on selection based on availability. The place definitely has a lot of character and will be fun to come dine in. We grabbed our slices of pie and dined out in the car. Everything was fantastic and not overly sweet. Just perfection.

Hidden in the Chino Airport is a diner that serves American fare. Got the Country Fried Steak omelet. It was savory country fried steak chopped in pieces mixed with eggs and hash browns. The portions are gigantic. Order this if you can accept the challenge. Great decor loaded with classic Americana. If I lived in the area this would be my regular breakfast places.

This restaurant was allegedly founded in 1963 and still has that ambience. Food was OK but nothing that will encourage me to come back. No WOW to it. Prices are average for this type of restaurant. Average of 20 per person for breakfast.
Service IS great. Service was fast and accurate. The ambiance was that of a small town dinner and they were busy but not as busy as I expected. They have a small counter were you can sit and they do have lots of tables that can accommodate large families or lots of friends. The majority of the customers are seniors and some middle age family’s.

This was my first visit to this location, and it immediately charmed me. I have a soft spot for mom-and-pop–style restaurants—they carry a warmth and familiarity that feels both comforting and nostalgic. My friend and I arrived just before the lunch crowd began to trickle in, leaving me pleasantly torn between a breakfast indulgence and a lunch classic. I ultimately chose the tuna sandwich, which delivered exactly what I was hoping for—simple, satisfying, and done right. Light enough to leave room for dessert, I happily finished the meal with a slice of their peach pie. It was the perfect ending to a truly enjoyable experience.

Flo’s Cafe delivered exactly what a good breakfast spot should: comfort, consistency, and a welcoming atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was relaxed and friendly, the kind of place where regulars are greeted by name and newcomers feel at home right away. I ordered breakfast, and it did not disappoint. The food came out hot, fresh, and clearly made with care. The eggs were cooked just right, the bacon was crisp without being overdone, and the potatoes were seasoned well and perfectly cooked. Portions were generous without being excessive, leaving me satisfied but not weighed down.
Service was attentive and genuine, not rushed or scripted. My coffee cup never stayed empty for long, which always matters at breakfast. Prices felt fair for the quality and portion size, making it a solid value. Flo’s Cafe isn’t trying to be trendy or reinvent breakfast—it’s focused on doing the basics well, and that’s exactly why it works. If you’re looking for a dependable, no-nonsense breakfast with good food and warm service, Flo’s Cafe is worth the stop.

Flo’s ia a Chino institution. Good food and good vibes. We’ve been dining there for as long as I remember. If you’re in the area definitely give it a try. The biscuits and gravy are a thing of beauty. My Uncle is on a strict diet but I sneak him off to Flo’s to make his golden years more exciting.

Typical American cafe, really really nice and cozy. Try their CFS – chicken fried steak omelette with cheese gravy. It was absolutely incredible—crispy, flavorful steak wrapped in a somewhat of a fluffy omelette, totally smothered in rich, creamy cheese gravy. Easily one of the best I’ve had! Ordered squaw toast as side & coffee along with it.
The only downside was the cleanliness of the chairs. They could use a more thorough wipe-down, as mine had a few crumbs and a slight stickiness. Otherwise, fantastic food and great service! Sincere thanks to Roxanne for her menu recommendation.

My parents used to take us here in the 80s when we were kids. Fast forward.. Our son was home for the holidays on leave from Air Force. Picked him up from Ontario airport and drove to Chino airport (22 minutes) for Flo’s. Everyone had a great experience food still just as good. Biscuits and gravy a must try.
