Really enjoyed my Friday night. They have live karaoke and the vibe was everything. The food!! Seasoned and cooked to perfection. Only downside is that it’s kinda small if you eat in. Very crowded and some areas were sectioned off as reserved.

Ordered takeout and everything was excellent. The crab cakes were nothing but crab meat no fillers at all. The fish plate was fresh and cooked perfectly. On top of that, the ladies’ service was outstanding friendly, welcoming, and professional. Will definitely be back!

Let the lovely ladies of Celestia’s treat you to their amazing southern cuisine. I didn’t get a picture of my plate because I was distracted by how delicious the catfish was. Even the cabbage and butter beans were stellar! I had the peach tea to drink and it didn’t taste like sulfur water. I was genuinely blindsided by how fantastic the food was. My buddy got the shrimp. It came out on a saucer with pork ribs, corn on the cob, and a joule sausage. We both paid about $22 for our plates. Well worth the money! You should definitely check this place out!

I was skeptical at first. But omg the food was incredible. Make this a stop!
Had the seafood mac n cheese appetizer and the chowder special.

The food was excellent and hot. But as a customer I think you should have someone up front that is more inviting to your business, what I mean by that is the young lady who was at the front counter just still there ready to take my order, we had never been there before, and I know that we looked lost because we didn’t know what to do how to order where to go I had to step up to the counter and say how do I go about making an order she said you can look at the menu she gave me the menu make your order and we will fix it for you or you can eat it here no smile no nothing that’s what I mean by inviting you have to make your customers welcome, and unless I smiled at her it seems that she would not smile back so your presentation is very important before eating your food. But I must say the food was very good and the atmosphere could have been better but it was like let me take your order and let’s keep moving. The place was very clean which I admired that and I think the owners came out and took a picture with one of the customers who requested that which was very nice. My mother was the one who suggested going over one of her friends told her about this place and so we went we did enjoy it, we will definitely come again but please improve the front counter welcome person I’m sure she is nice but she needs to show that through her professionalism she’s young so she could learn this quickly and let it be a part of her restaurant repertoire. Thank you

Driving back from the Keys and almost missed this place….my stomach was glad that we didn’t! Excellent fried seafood…oysters were crispy on the outside and tender inside; fried green tomatoes were tangy and crispy, okra was crunchy, and the crab cakes were fantastic. Cold Corona was perfect with the fried food. They have blackened and other options as well. The baked goods and desserts were so tempting (Kellie cake, strawberry pinch cake, red velvet, pound and others) but we were way too full this to try them this time. Leave the interstate and skip the Zaxby’s and drive like 1.8 miles on the right…well worth it! Great service too!

First of all!! Let’s talk about the customer service, it exists in a major way, I felt valued as a customer as soon as I walked in the door, greeted with a friendly voice and a smile. Disappointed that oxtails are only served on Sundays, however they had a meatloaf special so I decided that my 30 mile journey would not be in vain. I added a cobbler and collard greens to the order, which comes with a piece of cornbread, also I threw in a bowl of homemade peach cobbler. (No pork in any of the sides) This food was delicious, I forgot I was supposed to be ‘tasting’ and started straight up grubbing down!! Im coming back again for the oxtails. I have on good authority that the owner is on site in the kitchen out of sight doing her thing…aaand She is the original chef for a local chain by a different name, she left and started this place but her recipes are still present in the kitchen of her competition, not sure i can even call them competition at this point.

If you want the best seafood in Jacksonville, you gotta try Celestia’s Coastal Cuisine on Dunn Ave. This is the best I’ve had in a long time. Everything in that place is amazing. The Dungeness crabs and shrimp combo boiled amazing ♥️

The food was very good, but the music was WAY TOO LOUD. The young lady taking orders could not even hear. I ordered the jumbo snow crab boil and she rung me up for the shrimp seafood boil even after I repeated it to her twice… I ate the shrimp because they were already busy and I didn’t feel like waiting. I understand wanting to create a vibe for customers but the space is too small for the music to be that loud.
