Spice trade is my favorite restaurant in Greenwood Village. The staff are always friendly, the restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the food is always delicious. My go tos are the ginger chicken kababs, the cheese jalapeño naan, the chicken pakora, and the coconut curry soup. The ginormous beer never disappoints either!

Subject: A Delicious and Utterly Baffling Experience

The food here is absolutely 5-star, no question about it. I dream about the naan. However, I’ve just had one of the strangest and most confusing experiences of my life with this place.

I live nearby and noticed tonight that despite Google saying it was closed, all the lights were on, the parking lot was full of cars, and the “Open” sign was clearly lit. I called them at 11:45 PM (more than two hours after their supposed 9:30 PM closing time) and they answered the phone! When I asked, they insisted they closed at 9:30 PM. I was so confused I just hung up.

So, how do I rate this?

Food: 5/5 – Truly excellent.

Atmosphere: 4/5 – It’s a smaller spot, not super fancy, but they’ve made it cozy and it has a great vibe. Service: 3/5 – I have to land here because while the food is amazing, the situation is just plain weird and suspicious. Are they open? Are they closed? Is it a secret after-hours club? Who knows!

I’m leaving this review in the hopes of solving this hilarious mystery. Is it a glitch in the matrix? Or the most exclusive late-night spot in town? Whatever is happening, it’s one of the weirdest restaurant encounters I’ve ever had.

Where do I sign up?

This is a phenomenal place to come visit and have top of the line beers, amazing food, great service, and a fun atmosphere! I ordered the Vienna Lager and they absolutely nailed the style. The Chai Milk stout is incredibly unique and totally wowed me! As well, the food was delicious, flavorful, and totally satisfying. If you’re in the area, come by Spice Trade

I chose this place solely based on their rotating season menus. I am so happy I did. I went here back in February. The service was great as we got seated quickly even though the place was packed. They were doing a trivia night, which added to the fun. They had a great beer selection as well. I had the Poke, which was the best Poke I have ever had. I am from the PNW and can not find Poke that good here. I would highly recommend this dish. I would also recommend the adult tater tots. All in all, I would highly recommend this as a regular spot if you live in the area. If you don’t live but are passing through, make this a stop.

Found this place online and figured I would try it out. Went at 11:30 on a Friday morning trying to beat the lunch crowd. Didn’t have to worry about that as there was no one elsel there. By the time we left at 1:00, maybe four other booths were taken.

There was a nice selection of beers on tap. The place was nice with a huge seating area outside. One table was taken outside. Very open set-up like a sports bar.

Ordered the honey chicken ($18) which was flavorful. Came in a small bowl, but there was plenty there to eat. Meat was a little tough, but still good. We also ordered sone Naan, but we never received that.

Service was adequate. Food about the same and atmosphere was non-existant (nearly empty).

All in all, very average and doubtful I will ever return.

Had an Incredible experience Wednesday evening for dinner. Staff was wonderful, happy and attentive. The menu had me drooling with a variety of Asian inspired dishes. We tried some flights and the tasting menu. Salad was beautiful, dumplings were spicy, Filipino dish was so tender with all of the flavors enhanced with the acidity of the lime. Mochi for dessert sounded yummy but we tried the miso banana Pudding and wow, insane. Chris was so knowledgeable and charismatic. We had one of the best experiences we’ve had in awhile. Can’t wait to return for their next menu! Follow @coloradofoodie on Instagram!

Tuesday Happy hours is quite time in that place. Beer was very good especially Red Ale. Brewed on premises. Food was tasty and good value. Highly recommend for groups up to 10-12 people. They have outdoor patio as well.

It’s nice to find a brewery that doesn’t just have IPAs. The fact that it’s also a restaurant that serves Indian food makes this especially notable. They had a good range of beers on tap (the chai stout was very good) and a good amount of dishes that went from more typical staples to less commonly seen. The samosas and garlic cheese naan were both great. The makhani was very good; I got it medium spicy and there was spice present but it didn’t overpower the other flavors of the dish (it honestly could have been a little spicier). The staff were kind and helpful. Overall I had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back again.

The experience here is pleasant and warm. I love the bright colors and passion for beer and cocktails. The food pairings sound amazing, the kitchen is open and I was told the menu is chef inspired. There’s a lot of events for people to enjoy here on the amazing patio! Dogs are welcome. Can’t wait to come back with friends!
