Stopped here while on a road trip heading to Marceline, Missouri — the hometown of Walt Disney ✨ for their annual celebration. Hard to believe it’s been nearly 10 years already ⏳.
What made this stop special wasn’t the food — it was the nostalgia ❤️ .
Outside on a bench sat Ronald McDonald , leg crossed, arm stretched across the back like he was waiting for someone to sit down and chat. I hadn’t seen one of those statues in YEARS .
Instantly made me feel like a kid again ✨
Road trips, simple joys, and that old-school McDonald’s magic
Sometimes it’s the little unexpected moments that stick with you the longest — and this one definitely did ❤️ ✨

For real I don’t even want to give this McDonald’s a rating because it has turned out to be the worst ever You got to sit in line for 10 minutes just to get a dang coffee anymore. Or if you’re the first one sitting in the line to take an order you get to be last in line and the person that drove in after you gets to go first. I don’t even know why I come here to get my coffee Taco Bell’s is so much better..

I am not sure what has happened to this location in the past 3 years but the food quality and service has gone down hill fast. Order a large fry and you get a large fry container half full. Order a BidMac you get a bun with a completely sponge like texture and the 1/3 or busted up burger patties. The first drive thru window where money is taken is pretty courteous but that’s where this curtesy ends. My last order you can taste that food has been in an overhead warmer bin for a long time, hard and cold. Just avoid this spot.

We always use the drive thru, sometimes that can be a very long wait. I understand that they may be short handed but they could also pull vehicles forward, that are waiting on items, they dont always do that. The food is as you would expect and the people at the window have been very kind so far

Went through the drive through and ordered a small chocolate shake and a cup of water. For $4.29, that should have been the best small shake I’ve ever had… instead, there was strawberry syrup in the bottom of the cup, which tainted the flavor of most of the shake. To add insult to injury, the receipt was so faded that I couldn’t read the survey code (I tried guessing a few times before I got truly frustrated and gave up). Ridiculous. The people at the windows seemed friendly, at least, but I won’t be returning.

Took 30 min for the food, fries were soggy and cold, chicken sandwich was cold and tough. Big Mac was half warm and tough. Couldn’t get any employee to help. Kids had a meltdown, ended up going across the street to Burger Kid to feed the kids. Tickets say the chicken sandwich was made 12 min before order was pulled

I personally don’t like McDonald’s at all. I go for my daughter. Never have had a decent experience at any of them. Either food is cold, stall, or made wrong every single time I go to any McDonald’s. Not to mention it is overpriced, unhealthy, and takes forever to get your food.
