Absolutely awful experience. We’ve been here 4-5 times and food and service have always been great. Went out for a special dinner and it was busy but not awful. Ordered large order of queso that literally never came. 2/4 people at our table got their meals then I got mine and the final one never came until we said we just wanted it to go. Miserable experience and waste of money and time. Had a huge chunk of fat in my carnitas that was disgusting too. So disappointed that staff training must have gone down in the past year.

Had heard many good things about this place, the service is good, I’ve gone two times now and had Nolan, he was quick, on point with orders and very kind. The complementary chips were warm, and the salsa wasn’t too loose like other places, it actually scoops nicely onto a chip. Get the queso, you won’t regret it.

I ordered an appetizer, and did not ask for a menu to check and see what was on it. It came out with a heavy dose of sour cream on it. I own that i should have said no sour cream, but again i did not have a menu. I rarely ever send anything back, i just scrape it off or power through it. There was no good way to remove the sour cream without losing half my order. I apologized to the bar tender and she took it back to the kitchen. Within less than a minute the manager came back out with the plate. Instead of letting me know my order was being redone, she tells me that this appetizer was limited and needed to save what they had for potential orders, so i needed to order something else or keep the order as is. My original order was steak waffle fries, so i am still not sure what they were short on. I know people make mistakes in ordering often, but that is the first time i heard of not getting a new order because you messed up your order. My brother said she had a attitude which i did not notice because i was still trying to register her response. I go there often and always had good service, but that is not how you treat a customer. Dont know the managers name and should have asked, but she worked Sunday 2/15. Ownership may want to have a conversation with her.

I’m hungry I see this place I haven’t been okay cool I go in and instantly a great vibe beautiful murals and good music okay I sit down order a drink and my food. my drink comes out the best drink I’ve ever had( the yellow jacket) food gets there shortly after and I stuff my face full of food till I remember I have a drink . I take my second drink and it got 10x better the honey fuzed into the drink and made it something special. All while being treated with respect and kindness. Great staff behind this place and I highly recommend stopping by and ordering a drink or two and a meal. I’m from an hour and some change away and my group and I decided at the table we will make this place our meet up spot for get togethers or just to grab a quick delicious bite with a great drink. Thank you to the staff for the recommendation on the drink and thank you for being so freaking good!!

Good food and service. We had a large group (9) this past Saturday and called ahead for a table. The servers were excellent and stayed on top of everything. Food was very good and dishes were very filling. I always enjoy their margaritas when I go there. They have a luncheon menu with some great options at very reasonable prices.

Most of the dishes are very tasty. The wings are amazing. Especially for a Mexican theme restaurant. My family and I were just there Saturday evening (7/13/24). We were seated right away and our server was very attentive. My only complaint would be the air conditioning and lack there of. It was running but not well. I couldn’t wait to get out of there. I felt very sticky, warm and just uncomfortable. The manager said when it’s really hot out the air doesn’t work as well. She said it was normal. Um, I think I’d be either getting it replaced or calling a repair man. Some businesses I go into on extremely hot days have a perfect ac setting. I won’t be back during the summer due to this.

Small restaurant in Sylvania is something I don’t think you would realize as an authentic restaurant. Mexican that is. From the looks of the sign on the outside of the building you wouldn’t know it’s Mexican but the food is spectacular. I recommend it to anybody in the area. Stop in. Have a bite. I can’t tell you the last time I’ve had bad Mexican food but this place was very good. Top notch will definitely be back. I think a lot of the staff are people from the schools or colleges around here and all the service was great. Keep up the good work and we’ll see you soon

We came in and were seated at a 6-top in the bar area because there was a wait. Waitress/bartender was not tentative to refilling drinks. After our food came out, she didn’t even come over once to ask how it was (good thing the food was really good) the only time she was nice was when she brought the checks. Left 15% because of the lackluster service. Food was good.

We ate dinner there last night, service and everything was great as usual until I got home with our Burris burrito and I found out they it was 90% rice and had trouble finding any shredded beef , really disappointed with the lack of meat. I hope in the future when you get a to go order that doesn’t happen. My son had the same Burrito there and it had a lot of meat in it, so I don’t know why the to go order was a complete opposite?

Hard to wrong with Te’kelas in Sylvania. Our server Jackie was very attentive and quick. My Fajita Bowl with chicken was tasty and well balanced with chicken, rice, and fajita veggies. My wife had the wet burrito with chicken which she enjoyed. Their tortilla chips are really good in my opinion as well. A great place to stop at for lunch or dinner, no surprises!
