We quit going to this location for a couple of years – nothing was ever right. Food wasn’t what you ordered, drinks consistently flat, etc. They got better for a bit, but now are on my banned list. Nothing you ever order is done correct – breakfast burrito with the tots? If you get the tots, you get nothing else. Today, I didn’t get tots, or the cheese sauce i ordered, but I did at least get the jalapeños. And forget calling – it goes straight to voice mail

Pulled into the parking lot to only one other car there who already had been eating there food. Pressed the button and waited about 10 minutes with no response but could see a working inside sitting on her phone. So we moved to another stall thinking that the one were at was a Broken one. Once we moved to the new stall we pressed the button because we already knew what we were ordering waited another 7 minutes with no response and could see workers inside standing together laughing at this time now 2 other cars had pulled up and one had sat for a bit and left. Right as we were to pull away we got an answer but in the middle of ordering we were told to wait because they were getting a call. Not sure if that was a personal call or a restaurant call. Got our food and left. Once I started eating my food I have found hair in my cheese and it was imbedded in the now cold cheese so I know it was not from me. I Wouldn’t have left any review with just the lack of customer service incident but hair in food is disgusting and unsanitary not happy at all.

Over cooked chicken patty and I waited 10 minutes for an online order that I told them the time I would be there. I checked in at the stall and still had to wait ten minutes. They gave a car that came well over five minutes after me their items first. I mentioned that I was here first to the server that came out. She told me it was a preorder. I said mine was a preorder as well. Then the second excuse she gave oh we had to cook yours. Did not make sense because it should have been ready the time I said I would arrive. Then the server said as she was walking away, sorry you had to wait but we are busy. The sorry was not sincere, it was another flimsy excuse. Won’t go to this location ever again. I work on post and it was important they receive my food in a timely manner. So disappointed. This was my first and only time a at the Vally Hi location near Lackland AFB.

This is the second time I come to this location and I see the same older woman coughing and sneezing all over the place, she’s luckily not handling my food the first time she was at what looks like a desk the whole time and the second time she came outside to talk on her phone, but I think it’s pretty gross that she doesn’t cover her coughs/sneezes. She has a really raspy manly voice so idk if she’s also sick or if she’s just like that. Other than that the service is impeccable here and the food is delicious, I just really think management needs to do something about this lady unless she gets people sick.

Employee couldn’t hear me ordering and asked me to speak up. Had to practically yell for her to hear me. Management needs to do a better job maintaining their equipment so employees can take orders better. Fries were so over cooked/burnt they turned into crunchy chips. Onion rings were over cooked/burnt also and tasted like they were left in the fridge for a few days and reheated. Very disappointed since we had to leave another Sonic location after not getting service at a stall and drive through window. We waited a few minutes at the stall and drive through with out any acknowledgement.

I started coming to this Sonic in Jan 2016 when i moved to the area. I used to come about once a week with no complaints. I’m not sure what happened, but the last few visits have been terrible. On one visit, i ordered a footlong chili cheese coney with mustard and onions, it only came with onions and mustard and half of the bun was so hard i couldn’t even bite through it. This most recent visit was the worst so far. First, they didn’t have tater tots or mozzarella sticks. Second, they brought out my order and forgot to bring out 2 of the 5 drinks, and the drink holder that THEY asked if i wanted. Third, the french fry containers were barely filled and the fries were nearly tasteless. Fourth, we got 3 hot dogs and they barely had any toppings and the toppings were just thrown on. See pictures.

When we placed order we weren’t aware of the store being short handed until more than 25 minutes later when I called into store and asked what was taking long. Then she said your order just needs to be bagged 7 minutes came home to burned onion rings called back and she said bring them back and we will remake them. No ma’am. All you had to was let me know you were short handed! Smdh

Low staffing leads to slow deliveries and mistakes on orders. Don’t go here if you’re in a rush. I ordered one drink and it took 15 minutes and it came out wrong.

I hate leaving bad reviews but after spending over $70 on food, I expect there to be a quality check or before sending the order out. We called ourselves checking but didn’t notice the 2 missing orders of fries until we got home. Very disheartening after spending 12 hours on the road
