Solid Chinese food with laid back service.

The place is very big and great for large groups.

They have a huge menu along with a good selection of drinks as well as specials.

The portions are a good size and are easy to share.

The service was excellent. The food was good and it is very affordable. They gave you tea on the house. Also, scallions pancakes were very delicious. We also order Dam dam nuddles and chicken fried rice which were good as well.

Great food, very large portions almost family style if anything! Highly recommend the house lo mein and the Kung pow chicken, but a lot of people tell me about the garlic style with beef or chicken! This is my fourth time coming, and I will continue to come the best Chinese restaurant I’ve had in the city

Had a beautiful dinner last night with a bunch of friends at a huge round table in the back of this restaurant. The service was impeccable, all the food came out super quickly, and they were super attentive. We had a ton of great dishes, ranging from dumplings to fish to chicken, you name it. And very affordable too! We will definitely be back here again soon thanks for a great experience.

Their dry pepper chicken is the best. They serve rice along with it so you don’t have to order an additional portion of rice.

Great dinner. Entrees are enough to share and then getting a few apps and sides makes a great meal. I loved everything and the service was good

MAJOR FOOD SAFETY ISSUES

5 Months Later Update: 5 months since my original review, I wanted to provide an update on how this establishment clearly has no regard for their customers safety. I am adding another photo from this morning that shows vegetables openly placed on the sidewalk, where dogs poop/pee everyday. I also took a photo of the van that has the Han Dynasty name on it to dispute the restaurant’s response below that this was a food vendor and not their own employees. I will be filing another health complaint with the city. DO NOT EAT HERE!

Before sharing what I experienced this morning, it’s important to note that Han Dynasty has had a health code grade pending for quite some time (the Rating Pending sign is visible in their window, as per the law) and that alone should make anyone want to stay away. This morning, I observed their staff unloading vegetables in filthy crates from a filthy van. The handtruck got caught on the curb and spilled the vegetables all over the sidewalk and into the dirt out front. This is the exact location where many of us walk our dogs. The staff proceeded to quickly package the food back up into the crates and wheel it into the restaurant. I went up to them and said, “I saw what just happened – you cannot possibly serve this to your customers.” They replied by saying, “WE WASH!” and then proceeded to ignore me while they moved the crates into their filty basement. Aside from this episode, the crates themselves have holes all around them and should not be stored in an underground cellar where rats and roaches are known to live. I reported this as a health code violation.

After I saw Zimmerman and Estelle Choi from Heat eaters I thought this would be really good.

Well it was ok, nothing more then that.
We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. Normala appetizers comes first be we got one entree first and then all of the rest at same time. It is ok, its Chinese food and we like to share anyway.
We had wonton and dumplings, and those dumplings was really good. Wonton was ok.

The salt and peppar shrimps was really good to. But the Dan Dan noodles was really a disapointment.

If I lived here then I could go back, but not worth a trip over it.

The dry pot with fish ($25.95) and Mapo tofu ($16.95) were excellent with the right amount of spiciness. Generous amount of food. Orders came with free white rice and hot tea. Services were really good and we didn’t have to wait too long for the food to come out.
