Our Bonefish Grill in Tallahassee is a lively and welcoming place to meet friends and enjoy a relaxing conversation. They offer a Social Hour every day from 3:00 to 6:30 p.m.
For appetizers, we had the famous Bang Bang Shrimp—crispy, flavorful, and not too heavy. The shrimp are lightly breaded, served on a bed of lettuce, and topped with a creamy, slightly spicy sauce that’s truly one of a kind.
The restaurant has a full bar, and the bartenders are knowledgeable and accommodating. They can make almost any drink, even if it’s not on the menu. We always enjoy their Chocolate Martini, made with vodka and chocolate liqueur, and garnished with a small piece of chocolate cake—such a treat!
For the entrée, we highly recommend the Chilean Sea Bass, grilled to perfection and so tender it melts in your mouth. It comes with rice and broccoli by default, but you can substitute other sides if you prefer. We chose the lemon butter sauce, which was light and perfectly complemented the seasoning of the grilled fish. Our sides were also excellent—we tried the potatoes au gratin and jasmine rice.
Our server was friendly, courteous, and impressively patient with our group of picky eaters. To top it all off, the managing partner, Nolan, stopped by our table to make sure everything was perfect.

We went for my wife’s Birthday, just the two of us. We got there maybe an hour before they closed but it was a great experience. The food was impeccable and the service was timely and courteous. The price for the quality of food was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend. I ate at three different locations throughout Florida and my favorite so far is the Tallahassee location.

Me and my boyfriend go for their happy hour but come back for the bang bang shrimp and the chill atmosphere that can get lively during happy hours with the best blueberry lemon drop the bartender is amazing with remembering our orders and they will let you order up until the time and Jay will always make sure you are having a good experience with her hospitality

Had brunch with my daughter, the shrimp and grits were out of sight! She also had the dragon fruit no-jito delicious . Kayla is the best bartender. If you like a frosty beverage, ask for an extra shake. Thank me later. Brittany was an amazing server. Very attentive. 10’s across the board Bonefish.

The bread and pesto and the Parker’s Margarita were great. Bistro chimichurri fillet was VERY salty. I don’t know if it was the chimichurri/pesto sauce or if it was the steak but both the sauce and the seasoning on the steak was too much. I substituted the mashed potatoes for the fries and was glad that I did. The broccoli was just okay. Some pieces were completely cooked others were still hard. My server was very polite and attentive. I would definitely go back, but would order something different.

The food was amazing, ambiance was top tier! My partner and I went on the most random day but it was perfect and they had a pianist playing they also have $5 margarita Monday and idk who’s behind the bar but they’re incredible. We gave our compliments to the chef and Nico was our waiter he was amazing his service was top tier as well, very polite welcoming and kind. I’ve never been to a bonefish grill like this. 10/10 recommendation for your next date night

Arrived about 8pm without reservation. Promptly waited on by attentive and enthusiastic staff. My wine was served promptly and my dinner order was taken.
Calamari appetizer arrived soon enough – hot and crispy but a little heavy on crust/coating. Sauce was rather sweet and could have used a but more spice.
Butter fish was excellent. Perfect toy cooked with a delicious sauce.
Rombaur wines a highlight of a list that is long on chardonnay and a bit short on exciting.
I did find the rumpled and grimy menus off putting. To me a sign of lack of attention to detail. Staff might benefit from training on serving wine – nice staff but not sure of themselves.
