Bungalow Joe’s is a great neighborhood pub and sports bar, offering pub classics including wings, burgers, sandwiches, and appetizers. The Reuben had a generous amount of meat. The sweet potatoes waffle fries were great! Welcoming atmosphere in the heart of Louisville’s burbs. Kentucky fans and Louisville fans were present and we were even welcome as the transient Hoosiers. Plenty of TVs to watch several games. Our server Felicia was fantastic, wish she worked in every restaurant!

Great neighborhood restaurant and bar. Food is top notch with a nice variety. If you can’t find something you like to order here you are one picky eater…ha. Prices very reasonable. Server was awesome. I had the beer cheese burger and onion rings and was stuffed…big burgers! Lots of tv’s with various sports channels. Terrific place to catch a game.

Been wanting to try this place ever since our daughter moved to the area. Our server was awesome, all the food was cooked fresh to order, and a lot of great menu choices. Menu options let you choose to eat healthy or to eat heavy, and all items we had were great!

We ordered 10 drummies with sweet Thai and loaded tots. Hardly any sauce on the wings and the bacon on the tots were barely more then raw, would have said something to the server but she was almost non existent and when she brought me my drink (cocktail) I told her the coke was flat and she chomped her gum and said well it fizzed when I put the coke in it and walked away. We try to come here once or twice a month because we have always had a good experience along with good food. Not tonight at all!

This local spot is always busy on a weekend or when they are having an event. It’s great to see so many people enjoying the sports bar/grill vibe that this place does so well. Parking is plentiful, but if you don’t get a spot close to the restaurant, it’s a small walk. We had to wait about 30-40 minutes for a table on one of their busy nights, but they do have a text system to let you know when they are ready to seat you and that’s always preferred in my opinion.
The staff are always hustling and we really appreciate how welcoming everyone is at this place. The drinks are a decent price and the food shows up freshly prepared. The loaded fries are awesome! The buttermilk ranch they serve with the fries is so good. The mushroom and swiss burger was great and HUGE. The green beans were okay, but I might try something different next time. The flavor just wasn’t my favorite. The mini sliders were awesome and the tots were crisp. Overall, a good visit and we appreciate that this location has a rewards system too. It took a bit to get our drinks and the table was pretty sticky this time around, but we are looking forward to trying again.
*If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, you need to ask for a table that is far away from the patio entrance. The patio seems to be a hot spot for smokers to gather and the smell wafts indoors really easily.*

Came to Bungalow Joe’s for lunch because, well, it had the word “Bungalow” in the name and I’m a sucker for a restaurant that sounds like it might also rent surfboards. Ordered the steak sandwich, hoping for a flavor explosion — instead, I got a polite handshake. The steak itself was decent, like it had potential in high school but never quite made varsity. Would’ve loved a little sauce — maybe something zesty or mysterious, even just a confident ketchup. Alas, it arrived dry enough to start a small fire.
But hey, the atmosphere was friendly, the staff was delightful, and I didn’t leave hungry (just emotionally neutral). If you’re in the mood for a solid lunch with a side of mild disappointment and a great place to eavesdrop on someone’s aunt’s vacation drama, Bungalow Joe’s is your spot.
Would I come back? Sure — but I’m bringing my own sauce.

So I have a friend that I havent seen in decades that lives 5 minutes from here. I asked him on the way where my wife and I could meet him and his wife that was local and not a chain. He said we have to go here…..and it didn’t disappoint. Service….outstanding. Food….outstanding. Atmosphere…..absolutely outstanding. I had the Salmon with a devils bourbon sauce and OMG…..DELICIOUS. My wife had the same and same result. Must must stop!

Fantastic experience. Don’t know how we missed this place before. Fish and Chios is incredible, ribs were amazing. Excellent and delicious food. Wait staff was friendly, very helpful.
