Not sure why some of the negative reviews. This place is very good. The food is great, service is very good, and prices are reasonable for the area. We had an omelet and avocado toasts, they were excellent. Our order had an error but it was corrected very fast with no fuss. Great place.2

The Cali Benedict I got was okay. Their house potatoes are incredible, though! The coffee was fine with cream, our waitress came by to refill quite frequently.
The ambiance of the place was nice, too! My major complaint is the price: coffee was $4/person and the whole meal cost $50 with tip.
My second trip:
Service was very attentive, although I was a little surprised when everyone pitched in to help us, without a designated server.
I got the stuffed French toast, which was very delicious. I got strawberries and cream cheese. The country ham was so salty, tho

This location needs so much work. The service is terrible. The waitress took our order, never came by to check on us, dropped our food and the check at the same time and we never saw her again. The food is not good, it’s basic diner food but at a much higher cost. The hash is $17 and tastes like it comes from a can. We also ordered drinks, this is where it turned terrible. The bloody mary is just plain and tasteless. The orange Creamsicle was flat out terrible. It was mostly this weird foam. When I flagged down the waitress, she said, oh, the bar us out of vanilla vodka so we put regular vodka. This drink is soooo bad. It’s champagne, vodka and cream based flavoring which curdles and creates a foam that is not drinkable. In the end, it was a very expensive, horrible breakfast which could have been cheaper and better if we went to a local diner.

Loved dining inside. We got seated in this little separate room with only a few tables, and that was great. Unfortunately that also meant we had a hard time getting a server’s attention. The food and the drinks were fantastic. Exception: The chunky potatoes they serve with breakfast may not be for everyone. We will definitely come back here though!

I’ll be completely honest the service was awful from the beginning. My family and I came on Sunday November 23rd to have breakfast. We’ve been to the location in Fuquay and my mom has been to this location several times. For a restaurant where the policy is that every server is your server that did not happen here. Five servers walked past us without acknowledging us for 10 minutes straight. Finally someone came over to us and she had an attitude the entire time. A couple that came in after us was waited on before we were. I ordered coffee and never received a refill. I was only offered one when we were about to leave.
Another waitress brought only half of the food and didn’t bother to ask what we were missing or what we needed. My mother’s food came out five to ten minutes after everyone else. When she ordered her food, she requested that her bacon was crispy and it came out chewy (raw). When she requested the bacon that she originally ordered (crispy), the waitress took her bacon back to the kitchen, and brought it back out the same exact way it was brought out before but now HOT and raw. On top of that, she only came to check on us once or twice and it wasn’t until we paid and were getting ready to leave. We will only eat at the Fuquay location from now on due to this very poor experience with very poor service.

This is a spectacular combination of totally delicious food, from a varied and diverse menu, prepared by experienced and talented kitchen personnel, and served by very friendly and efficient wait staff. This gastronomic symphony is conducted by Joe, the manager, who treats customers and staff like family, and who runs everything like a “well-oiled machine.” The omelettes, grits (South Carolina Adluh brand stone-ground white!), and turkey bacon (Jennie-O) are to die for. And my wife loves all the many avocado-laced menu items! Absolutely first rate from top to bottom.

A decently good breakfast option if you’re stopping by Waverly. My eggs were done just runny enough and the potatoes are to die for — tasty and savoury without relying on too much salt. There’s also a killer fresh-squeezed orange juice machine. Sadly our flapjacks were a bit overdone, a bit dry, and lacking a bit of their own flavour. They do act as an excellent vehicle for syrup though, soaking it up like no one’s business.
Everything else kind of falls into that same pattern. The restaurant itself is clean and neat, but lacks its own distinct character (bonus points for clean toilets though!). Service was nice, polite, and friendly, but didn’t linger long enough or feel thorough enough to really be stellar (there was always a feeling of rush-rush, even though we were in the calm before the late morning wave). None of this really matters if you’re coming here in a party of four or more during the crowded hours, when you’re happy to have the table and everyone’s company as the main course. The good food will make a great background for that, it’s just missing that “little bit” to draw you back in when you have time to ask “what makes you famous?”.

Greeted promptly and was seated without a wait. Initial introduction of waitress was not welcoming . Did not want to mention her name or any featured items and definitely did not up sale. The raspberry walnut pancake was great. DO not order a over medium eggs. I had to send them back twice the first two times they were over easy and the last time the eggs were fried hard.

Went back on forth on this review.
the place has potential but over all felt meh
first of all I gotta say, the best part of this meal was the poached eggs . they were perfect.. everything else could improve
we ordered the avocado Benedict…which I wish they took off the peel first.. it’s a very messy process to do so yourself
the hueves ranchero was really a let down .. the tortillas included were super wet and soggy the moment the plate arrived . it was mostly beans with the water of the beans still in there with very little cheese and avocado ( we asked And got more but still…)
the food was lacking flavor over all.. we added plenty salt, pepper and hot sauce..
the waiters were great, they r understaffed but doing their best… food was mostly my issue
currently the outdoor area is closed

We used to eat here often but we moved away almost a decade ago. We stopped in a few days ago and I was surprised how empty it was. But the food was delicious. The staff member was attentive. It’s a good breakfast/brunch spot in a fun shopping area.
