We went on a Monday evening around 7:30pm and sat immediately. It was a very nice upscale looking crowd. At least 3-4 more tables sat after us with nice looking millennials with manners. We started w Tom Yum soups. If you order spicy Hot, it will be hot. I ordered mine medium spicy and it was enjoyable. Might skip it next time, as it is very small bowl but delicious. The chicken crispy rolls came 3 to an order and were so fresh n hot n crispy that we ended up having three orders throughout the meal. I highly suggest crispy rolls. We had spicy basil beef fried rice & shrimp pad Thai add chicken. Both entrees were very tasty. And a good good value at $15 each. Only $2 more to add chicken to my shrimp pad Thai. The basil fried rice was very tasty, the basil did not overpower the dish. It was perfect tasting. The pad Thai was divine. And I mean divine tasting! The Singha bottle beer was ice cold! Our tea and soda were constantly refilled! The server was so helpful and attentive. Other support staff helped all our food and extras needed come to us quickly and with such graciousness. It was my first time to Thai Cottage and I fell in love w food and atmosphere. There are so many other entrees I want to try. I will be back. Thank you Thai Cottage!

Food is great and the restaurant is cozy located in what feels like an upscale bistro environment. Food is delicious and they have mung bean noodle which does not have gluten. We sub our rice with that. It’s nice to have a non grain option. Great atmosphere and great food.

My husband happened to notice a new Thai place nearby. I’m glad we decided to try them! It turns out that it is a chain restaurant, but clearly good reason that there are so many.
We arrived right as they were opening up for dinner. We were a few minutes early, but we’re welcomed with open arms. We only encountered two people working there, but both were extremely nice and helpful.
We tried the shrimp spring rolls (which go by another name), which were what you’d expect. Nothing too special, but the peanut sauce was great! Our entrees were absolutely amazing though. I got the roasted duck curry, which had a perfect balance of sweet and spicy (we both chose 4 for the spice level)… I would 100% get that again.
My husband chose the Pad Thai, which was very flavorful. I had to steal a second bite of it. The last several times I’ve had it elsewhere, it was pretty bland, so I was impressed.
The atmosphere is very nice and cozy. We will definitely be back.

We had lunch special and it was perfectly portioned and was yummy!! The salad with the peanut sauce is perfection. I had the Chili Basil with rice. It was yummy and flavorful but maybe I should’ve just gotten the fried rice version off of the menu. [EDIT: I just tried the other lunch special dish, the Chili Paste with beef. I love it!! Highly recommend it with a spice of 4/5. Spice level 4 is flavorful not spicy, but if you want spicy order level 5. Beef was nice!] Pad thai is also good as always! Also regarding the spice level (out of 5); order a 4+ for the heat because the spice level of 2 wasn’t spicy at all and 4 is just right with minimal spice. Yellow curry is yummy too!! I recommend all, but the best I’ve eaten (out of the two times I’ve been) is the Chili Paste dish.

This place is absolutely amazing! I come every Thursday lunch, and the workers are always so kind, especially our server Ky! We got the curry noodle and tamarind fish this time around and it was perfectly made. The taste was perfect, not too much not too little. I’ll definitely keep coming back 🙂

First off, this place has had the most consistent and exceptional service that I’ve ever experienced in all of Corpus Christi. Secondly, there is not a single item on the menu that never fails to impress my family’s tastebuds. Furthermore, when ordering the same item on different occasions, the recipe remains unchanged. Thai Cottage is a place you can count on when you’re feeling lazy, forgot to thaw the chicken at home, or trying to impress the in-laws while they’re in town. 10/10 must visit!

Excellent little restaurant that serves great food. Very friendly ambiance thanks to the staff who were attentive and welcoming. The curry and soups were absolutely delicious. They also serve imported Thai beer which were also good. In most other places you would have to pay more for this type of food quality but the prices in this restaurant were good.
