Believe the reviews, this place has gone downhill. Theres a much better Popeyes with workers that actually want to be there vs this location full of ppl who clearly don’t care.
I typed this whole review, took pictures and proofread it while waiting 6+ minutes for tenders, after i ordered ahead, and STILL waited behind two other customers whole the “crew” (5 whole teenagers) just walked in circles and laughing at things on their end.
I was holding out hope for this location, but you’re better off just going to a different popeyes. Look at the third picture for a good laugh .

If I could give less than 1 star I would . Me and my man ordered for online pickup 2 box orders while In the parking lot and went to drive thru immediately after placing it there was nobody in line but we waited for them to even acknowledge us at the window … then we get home and the fries are completely old and stale and the biscuits were old and stale we also wanted spicy dark meat and received white meat which we do not eat . We called in so it can be credited back or fixed the lady argued with us that we ordered it incorrectly but on the app there is no options to even change the meat regardless the fries and biscuits were still stale she was not trying to fix it on their end so we ended up hanging up. So that lead me to write this review. I am a local faceless food reviewer on TikTok and Instagram but I was just wanting a bite to eat since I just moved in this area and been unpacking all day. Now I will be letting people know to NOT go to this location and if they do they better check it. Unbelievable service not in a good way. Never have I been denied a remake when the restaurant messed up. It’s not about the money or anything but just making sure the customer is happy with what they paid for. Basic customer service.

The date is 2/27/26 and the time is ~5:50pm. I am so tired of young people acting as if I am doing them a favor to spend my money at the establishment were they are paid to give service. There were 3 Hispanic girls and Hispanic guy behind the counter. 2 of the young ladies were moving very slow doing whatever they were doing. One was on her phone. The guy was cooking. No one greeted me for the 5 minutes I stood there. Once one of the youg ladies finally came to the register, she still never greeted me but started service with me as I was irritating her but wanting to place an order. I just looked at for a second wanting to angrily say, is this how you greet and service your customers. After finally take my order, she goes over to the over 2 girls and say something in Spanish. They then turn and look at me with a smirk on their faces. RUDE and very unprofessional. I have never had a good service experience at this location and will NEVER spend my hard earned money there again. To the owner; you need to reconsider whose managing the service of you establishment. Kids like this that don’t care will cost you. Also I don’t like unhappy people dealing with my food. If you are having a bad day and you can’t adjust your attitude, DON’T COME TO WORK AND TAKE YOUR ISSUES OUT ON MONEY SPENDING CUSTOMERS!!!!

Their food is tasty no doubt. But the portions are all small. The chicken pieces have gotten really tiny. I got a five-piece combo. Supposed to feed two people. I spent $11 and the pieces of chicken are so small I was still starving. It didn’t satisfy my appetite at all. I definitely wish I had spent my money somewhere else.
I used to get the spicy chicken sandwich fairly often
It seems like they’re smaller too and the price went up. I go to Braum’s now . They are much bigger and have more toppings for about $1 or less.

I came here for Tuesday $2.49 2 pcs special. The other store in Plano didn’t want to sell it even though I double check on the web. I gladly waited for the chicken since it was freshly cooked. I understand the difficulties to run a special during late afternoon. I’m happy to wait and support this location.
The newly remodel store looks fresh and up to date. I think they should install blinds on something to block the afternoon sun. No one will sit at the side of the dinning room. Other than that, I don’t mind pick up the order.
My rating as 5 is highly satisfied.
Taste 5/5
Temperature 5/5 freshly cooked.
Attentiveness 4/5
Cleanliness 3/5 the dinning room floor was neglected.
Speed of service. 4/5 they informed me I need to wait for the food I’m ok with that.
Will I return? Yes. This is my go to location all these years.
Will I recommend? Yes! they are trying their best to ensure they fulfill the orders.

I am not one to write negative reviews and have been eating Popeyes chicken for well over 30 years. What I purchased today was the worst fried chicken I have ever had. My “two can dine for $9.99” deal was horrible. First it included no drumsticks and the wings were not edible having no meat, only fried batter. The other pieces tasted like they had been cooked hours earlier and were very dry and chewy. I’m not saying I would not try a different location one day, but I will not be going back to this one.

After not understanding the worker and attempting to speak to her in what was clearly her preferred language, she continued speaking incomprehensibly. Definitely made her nasty attitude clear though. On top of that, the food was cold and nothing was spicy as it should’ve been. Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and tenders, and nothing had flavor or was even room temperature. Absolutely awful.

Terrible customer service, I ordered a frozen strawberry lemonade and a strawberry pie. They gave me a lemonade first and said I’d have to wait 8minutes for the pie, the lemonade tasted ROTTEN. I brought it back and the manager (Named DANIELLA) tasted it and AGREED it was rotten. She then gave me a chilled strawberry lemonade instead, that was ALSO rotten. She tasted that one and again AGREED that it was rotten. I told her to just give me my money back for the lemonade and she said “well then I’d have to give you the money back for the pie too, you don’t want the pie?”
I’m blown away, most places comp the meal if they give you rotten food, this manager (DANIELLA) did not say sorry or agree to comp anything – I already waited for the pie at this point and said to go ahead and return the whole receipt then charge me for the pie by itself, I made sure to let her know this was absolutely terrible service.
After waiting she finally gave me the pie and THEN said I didn’t have to pay, but initially she insisted I would have to – thats not good service at all so still 1 star, this place needs new management.
