Fantastic spot. As someone looking to find the best “work from home” spots, this is top tier. Huge space with lots of seating. The wifi is some of the fastest and most reliable I’ve had at a cafe.

Food and drinks being great is obvi a huge plus.

I love the mission statement and what the cage stands for too.

The atmosphere is great, its a very open coffee shop with plenty of great spaces to sit and read or study. However, it is extremely over priced and the service is incredibly slow. We arrived in line behind one other customer. We ordered 2 silver city breakfast sandwiches, a smores latte, and a pistachio iced coffee. The total came to 40$ and some change. Then we waited 15 minutes and finally our sandwiches came out. They were good but the description said it comes on a Portuguese bun, it was served on sandwich bread without being informed of the substitution. We then waited another 5-10 minutes until my smores latte was ready. The latte was very good but not worth the money for a small latte. Finally after another 5 minutes the pistachio coffee was ready, which also was tasty but not worth the price. Overall the place has potential to be a desirable spot, the food and drinks taste good they just aren’t worth spending 40$ on breakfast. If the ingredients were fresh and not prepackaged items it would be different. But its microwaved eggs for a steep price.

My wife and I regularly seek out new coffee places around southern New England. Was stoked to find an Identity spot moved into Taunton (they’re a small chain in New England).

This spot is MASSIVE. Not only is it a coffee / sandwich / ice cream shop, but it’s also an events space and community center. The decor and vibes are great. So much seating!

What drew us to this place was the affogato. Not many places do it well, but I’d give identity a 4/5 with it. A little too much espresso vs. ice cream, but it’s delicious and the espresso was strong. I like that you can customize the ice cream flavors which no one really does.

The iced lattes were also delicious, but had an awful lot of ice. For the price, I’d expect them to put a little more coffee in the cups and not fill to the top with ice. A small latte, large latte, and an espresso ran us $25 with a 15% tip.

Ultimately our coffee and experience was amazing, and we’ll be back!

Maybe I hit this spot on a good day? It was Saturday afternoon and only a few people inside. The space is beautiful and large. The brown sugar shaken espresso was so good, and the breakfast sandwich was really yummy. Both came out really fast and I enjoyed the space. Unfortunate about the many low reviews because there’s so much potential here & I have nothing bad to say about my experience. Give it a try if you’re in the area!

This space is unrivaled but the service can be on the slow side on the weekends. Management should consider staffing more than two people.

Stopped into Identity Coffee Co this afternoon looking for a delicious caffeinated pick me up and they did not disappoint! The vibe inside is so laid back and chill and there’s so much space and so many comfy spots to sit! I got the Peppermint Bark Latte which was fun and festive- and they have almond milk which was a huge plus! The staff was great and only day two open they were knowledgeable and so friendly! Grabbed some drinks to bring back to the office and everyone loved their coffees! 10/10 would recommend, glad to have another local coffee shop option! Can’t wait to come back again!

Avocado toast. $10.99. Wonderbread topped with grocery store guacamole, decent feta, and ICE COLD roasted peppers that were also soaking wet and soaked the “toast”. I also ordered an iced coffee and they asked if I wanted anything in it. I said no thank you.
My coffee was extremely watered down and it had milk in it, which I did not ask for.

Always a great experience when visiting! Food & drinks are always delicious. The ladies that are always there behind the counter are pleasant. Food and drinks are a little pricey but worth it!

Heard about this new “coffee shop” on Main Street in Taunton. Essentially this is a coffee outpost located in a new community center. The inside was beautiful and seems like a nice place to meet up with friends for a coffee. The coffee was decent very similar to an iced coffee you would get a a breakfast joint. As for tea, they have no freshly brewed ice tea just pure leaf. We decided not to try the breakfast although the menu looked good. After doing some research about the location identity coffee is small chain found in Western Mass and New Hampshire. The community center was started by some New Christian Community Church leaders from Easton. A cool concept the church undertones are a little iffy (my personal opinion), definitely worth a trip to see new improvements to The Green.
