Visited Chipotle today and was able to be served by the manager Augusine. He made the food fast and was very nice and knowledgeable about all of the food. It was busy but he did not seemed stressed and remained calm under all of the pressure. Thanks to him for a great visit!

I recently visited Chipotle Mexican Grill – Hillsborough St and unfortunately had a disappointing experience overall. The staff members were friendly, polite, and helpful throughout the ordering process, which I appreciated. The line moved at a steady pace, and the restaurant itself appeared reasonably clean and organized.
However, the food quality was not what I expected. I ordered beef, but it honestly looked more like chicken when it was served. The meat was extremely dry and tough—almost like chewing on rawhide. It lacked flavor and didn’t have the tender texture I usually associate with Chipotle. The rest of the ingredients were average at best, but nothing stood out enough to make up for the subpar protein. Because of the poor quality of the meat, I can only give this visit 2 stars.

Decided to purchase lunch at this Chipotle location today and I terribly regret that I did…. It was awful! I was about to order the Sofritas but noticed that it looked very dry and clumpy so I asked for a fresh batch. Thought the new batch would have been better, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. The Sofritas mixture was very watery or watered down and tasteless. It was absolutely thee worst meal I’ve had at this establishment and the beans were no better…. Just dry!! Not sure who made the decision to serve the sofritas like that, but it was a bad decision. First impressions are important as well as the taste and quality of the food. This dish was low quality and not something I would order again, at least at this location. Shame on Chipotle!! I do not recommend this place. Next time, I’ll go next door where the quality of food is better.

We visited this location yesterday with three children and two adults. Unfortunately, the portion sizes were quite small, the cheese was very dry and the service was not satisfactory.. My child loves Chipotle but during yesterday’s visit she left most of her meal for the very first time. That clearly showed how disappointing the food quality and portions were mad not worth the price!!

Got takeout and ordered a $10 burrito with beef and veggies and all sorts of things inside. Instead we got a tiiiiiiiny burrito full of rice, a hint of beef, and a giant leaf. Not at all what we ordered. If you want your food to be made correctly, you HAVE to be there in person to supervise them yourself because if you aren’t then they’ll screw you.

I Doordashed two bowls, and they arrived fresh and loaded with toppings! Usually when I Doordash, my order comes short or cold, but the opposite for this Chipotle location. A pleasant surprise. I ordered brown rice with chicken, corn/tomato salsa, pinto beans, sour cream, and chips on the side. My bowl was heavy both times! Definitely worth the money.

I ordered a sofritas bowl for dinner and once I took the bowl home to eat it, I noticed that they put chicken in the bowl instead of sofritas. The bowl was even labeled as a sofritas bowl. I went back to get it fixed and the employees were quick to change it, which I appreciated. This time I made sure to check the bowl before I left just to make sure, and on the top it was seemingly all sofritas so I left. Unfortunately, when I sat down to eat it, there was once again chicken in my bowl. I didn’t bother eating it or searching through it for more chicken because there was just no point. Not sure what’s up, but it’s just really frustrating. I think they just need to work on making sure the vegan alternatives are separated from the meat.

The service on 1/26 at 6:45 pm was absolutely horrible. I understand the place was packed due to the weather, but the employees here were incredibly disrespectful and rude and interrupted me mid sentence. Unfortunately I have no choice but to come back because this is the only chipotle in the area but whoever was working the front counter (not register) needs to be trained on customer service and not making the fact that yall had a food shortage my problem
