Have been to this Olive many,many times over the last twenty years, and have never had a bad experience until tonight. Husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. We were seated promptly, but than waited close to fifteen minutes for our server(Cashae) to come to the table, in the bar area(though it was clearly not busy). She took our drink order and our appetizer order. Twenty minutes later our appetizer shows up(cold) with our salad and bread sticks, still didn’t have our drinks. She than left to get our drinks. She was to preoccupied by her significant other that was sitting at the bar, drinking liquor out of a paper bag that he was attempting to hide on the floor at his feet. It took several attempts to get boxes and bags for our leftovers, at which point I looked to the front to see if there were other servers to help, there were several standing around looking at the phones. There was another table sitting next to us in the bar, that was Olive Garden employees, that seemed to be off duty. They were incredibly loud and belligerent, yelling and swearing. As always food was good, though cold, like it had been setting for a while before being served. Seems that manager on duty should do a better job at keeping his employees on point and acting in an appropriate manner.

The food was very good! It was for my brother’s 18th birthday and I’m glad he chose this place. I ordered some cheese ravioli with marinara sauce. My brothers and mom got some spaghetti. The waiter was pretty nice and had a good aditude. The restaurant was a bit chilly and I was shivering. But overall, I have to say I would love to go here again.

The staff is very friendly the food is amazing and the place itself is very beautiful warm and inviting, they have a beautiful display of their wines and alcohol and the prices are affordable, I highly recommend the gnocchi soup with bread sticks get it as a side to your main meal or do endless either way you’ll leave full and happy. 5 stars all the way around.

Peru is a great place. That’s not far from star rock to find restaurants and this is one of my favorite Olive Garden as the white staff and the bar area is fantastic!! They are on top of their game fast courteous incredibly hospitable and their soup salad breast sticks for 1199 is a DEAL any day!!

Wow, is how I will start. Stay with me as this may get a bit long but I want to be clear and honest. Last night we attended to dine hear, arrived at 7pm, asked for a table for 3, were told it would be 20-30 min for a table, but they had a booth. So we took it, when being sat we noticed the section we were taken to had not 1 but 6 open tables…. When we asked, we were told they were not being staffed at the moment. Okay? But the booth next to them was… A large group was forming behind us, 22 seats at the table. Half filled at this time. We sat, no server 7:15, a young male server finally stopped at the table who had passed us 3* at this point running drinks to the now filling 22 top that was being served by a different person and stated he would be with us shortly. At this point, on most other nights I would have elected to exit for home and leftovers, but today was my 7 year old daughters birthday and this was her request, OG. Now 18 after the our and a 4th drink run in to the other table he returned. Asked about out drink and appetizers. My wife had put in on the touch pad on the screen at the table but nothing had need retrieved. We placed our food order. He ran a 5th tray of drinks to the large table who was finally all seated (I was now keeping track to passify my mind). Then returning with our drinks, soup, bread sticks, dipping sauce. We ate what was provided he passed by running for the 22 top. A server for another table stopped and picked up our dishes, as he was MIA. Then finally he stopped, stated our food should be up, we asked for refills on drinks and more dipping sauce. He brought our food and the drinks. Our daughter’s food was wrong! Now 7:45PM, he stated he would have the kitchen fix it asap then disappeared. He was never to be seen again. At this point it was now 8pm sharp, the blood was hot and the questions of why they would not serve us from a 7 year old had started. My wife and I did not eat our food in front of our daughter when she had nothing and she did not want to share, she wanted her food! Even she had noticed how others had came ate a full meal and left in this time. She noticed how the 22 top had came in, ordered ate, ordered Togo food and now had it but she couldn’t get cheese ravioli with meat sauce? It was to the point the 22 top primary server had looked over multiple times with a puzzled look on her face. Then she came over and asked what was going on… At that point I told her, we have now been here over an hour, everything has been 2nd class to the table you are working and that is not even his table. We have now been 20 min for them to fix her food they made wrong… It is her birthday and we couldn’t even enjoy dinner. I told her and anyone else that wanted to hear, they could call the cops it they wanted but at that point I was done, we were leaving. Neither my wife or I touched a bite of our dishes. The it was like the red sea parted as we walked out. Server boy never was seen again!
I will add thank you Hy-Vee for having a chocolate truffle cake that looked close to the chocolate lasagna cake to save the night for our birthday girl!

Had a great time here after Christmas shopping. Our waitress was nice and helpful. She kept the salad and bradsticks coming! The soup is delicious I order spaghetti with meatballs and it was delicious! Everything came out nice and hot.

We waited 20 minutes for the server to come to the table, brought drinks out and Alfredo sauce. We ordered it took another 30 minutes to get our food, when it came out our daughter’s food was not correct, not a hard fix 5 minutes later server brings her grapes out 20 more minutes goes by still no replacement cheese ravioli. All while the restaurant is freezing. We had a bad experience before thought we give it another chance, never again.
