Fast service and the food was hot and fresh at Wendy’s today. Only gave me one BBQ sauce for a 10-piece nugget, and wanted 50¢ for each extra.. pretty cheap about the sauce. Other than that everything was good.

So. Here’s an update. 4 years ago I left the review below. But here’s today’s adventure.

Ordered a sandwich without cheese that normally has it… shockingly it came to me with cheese. Drove back and walked in. The rather haggard looking employee simply says “what happened?” I held my tongue and explained the issue rather than explain that what happened was Wendy’s strayed from its foundation and has become nothing but a machine. Now, I’m driving back to what will be cold chili and a frigid baked potato since I had to go and get my sandwich fixed. Yum.

Oh! No butter or sour cream for my potato. What a day!

Here’s my review of this location from 4 years ago.

If you are drive-thru only, have a sign OTHER than just on the door. If my Dad didnt ask for this (and he’s at the hospital not eating, but craved a chili) I’d go elsewhere.

Then when I order, trying to get the girl at the speaker to understand my Dad wants the chili more liquid than substance is like explaining quantum mechanics to a dead cat. Now I see why you only open the drive thru. The rampant level of idiocy present in the caliber of your employees shines like a beacon in the night.

I honestly cannot fathom how stores like this one remain in business. It’s like you try to alienate customers.

I stopped in today to pick up an early lunch that I had ordered through the Wendy’s app, which at least made the process quick and straightforward. Inside, the dining room looked reasonably clean, and the Coke Freestyle machine was fully operational, which is always a small relief when you are counting on it for a specific drink.

My junior cheeseburger deluxe was put together the way it should be, and the four piece nuggets were warm and tasted fresh enough. The fries, unfortunately, were warm but undercooked and far too salty, which set things back a bit and made the meal feel uneven.

I am not entirely sure, but I think the lemonade I received was the full sugar version rather than the sugar free one I had intended. Thankfully, the Freestyle machine had the sugar free lemonade available, so I was able to refill my cup and correct that part of the order myself.

All in all, it landed in the territory of an OK experience. Not terrible, not great, just serviceable enough for a quick midday stop.

The manager is supposed to set a good example for employees by delivering exemplary customer service. Well i rolled in today at just past 11am and the manager who was acting as a cashier had the worst attitude for no reason. The poor lady looked like she didnt want to be there and treated me like i was a difficult customer. Poor customer service isn’t justified by having a bad day.

We stopped at my favorite chain for a quick bite, this particular place looked closed or under construction, dimmed lights outside and one attendant that we could see, there were 2 patrons already at the kiosk struggling with the machine and so we waited and waited until another employee came in and took our order to dine in. After a while we got our food and sat down only to have the same employee come back to take our food and apologize for the mixed up, okay ready to eat and there she was again to take our food once more, unbelievable! Now my wife is pissed off and I am not in a mood for food anymore. I’ll stay away from this particular location until the franchise gets they act together and properly trained their employees.

Service at this Wendy’s was great, although they didn’t have any personnel taking orders, it was all thru the automated screen. But staff was friendly and helpful. The food is fast food, I feel like Wendy’s is a little better than some others, but fast food nonetheless.

Last three times there have been small issues. First time out of almost all sodas. Second time messed up my order and made my burger wrong. Third time the teenagers taking orders just seemed rude. Horse playing and not staying on task. Cold old fries, cold nuggets, no sauce and interaction wasnt personable at all. Took the card shut the window and and handed me the food. Seemed miserable… sad cause this location had some friendly faces..

Living Life One Day at a time
This Wendy’s is a great place if you have time and patience on your hand. No guest in the lobby, seven people behind the counter, and three cars in line calls for 25 minute wait, order to be wrong and price inaccurate every single time. The last two visits to this Wendy’s, two irate customers came up while I was in line to complain about the wrong order or something missing. I give it a two star because the hamburgers are always good. I just opened my double stack and this is what it looks like. Wrong again.

It’s been over 30 minutes.

We could have gotten food faster at a sit down restaurant. But we decided to go drive-through because it was faster.

When we finally got the food I was expecting only one worker. Nope. At least 5 I can see from the window.

No apologies. No explanation. No sense of urgency. They were all talking and laughing.

Do yourself a favor. Just go across the street to McDonald’s.

I didn’t go in the store so can only speak on the food. I had the spicy chicken sandwich with fries. The sandwich was not fresh and the fries were cold.
