All-you-can-eat sushi in K-town!
We came to Sushi Ippo for their all-you-can-eat lunch option. While their quality is better than most all-you-can-eat sushi joints, unfortunately it’s still not as good as it seems. The fish is very mediocre in quality (only exception being the albacore), and though the presentation and theatrics were great, the sushi itself didn’t live up to my standards.
If you’re looking for loads of sushi without regard to quality taste and ingredients, this might be your stop, but if quality sushi is what you’re looking for, I’d look elsewhere in LA

I never post bad reviews unless I’m seriously disappointed . This was possibly one of the worst sushi (maki rolls) I’ve ever had in my life. The rice was cold and stale. Seems like they gave us steel rice from all you can eat menu for our à la carte order. Never coming back ruined my night. $95 for cold stale rice and tasteless fish! Service was good. No complains.

I stumbled on this place on a few review pages for AYCE Sushi in LA. I had high expectations due to the reviews on multiple spots, and just felt let down. The salmon felt like it wasn’t fresh. Gave it a run for the money trying a few different rolls, but the overall fish quality was just average, and for the cost I think there are better places to go in KTown, and in LA overall for sure.

Not the most sexiest place, but the food is great! Sushi comes in perfect sized pieces and fast!
I would recommend you to get the ” all you can eat”, because it gives you a taste of everything. Do try the “yummy crunch” and the “creamy jalapeño” so delish.
It’s very loud and busy but a great place if you want good sushi.
The place could use a good scrub, but as I said, the service and food are great.

Happy hour BOGO on sake and beer and lunch before 11.30-3 pm is best price! Make sure to order with your belly and not your eyes! 90 minute limit for AYCE. We had to pay extra $30 for uneaten rolls and not allowed to take it to go 🙁 Hot sake was high quality and very tasty! Sushi was extremely fresh and had large portions. SALMON AND HAMACHI were to die for!!! 2 hour parking validation in the garage 🙂

The food was a great portion. It’s allowed me to get to round 3 while leave not too full and happy. Food is fresh . The time frame with food coming out was great not too long. Servers was very nice at explaining on how things work with all you can eat (even tho I’m a pro lol). Music was a relax vibe and not too loud. Will be return with my friends and family!!!! Thanks for the experience!!!!

My first time eating proper Sushi, accompanied by 3 regular Sushi eaters. Loved everything that we ordered. Their all you can eat platter was especially appreciated. Great ambience, great food, great service. A must visit.

This was such a great “before event at the Wiltern” meal. It being my and another in our party’s first time, the AYCE option had a great selection. It wasn’t too crowded at 5 pm on a Friday so great for after work, pre-early seating time. You do have to be smart about what you order so that you don’t get charged extra/penalized for leaving too many leftovers on the table. The Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice was a group favourite- the bulgogi was good but should not have been ordered so late in the meal because it made eating all of the food we ordered in the last round challenging. I loved the garlic edamame- felt it helped make more room. We should have ordered the fried spring rolls earlier- they were really good too. Will definitely go back!

For anyone complaining about the prices, they did post it on insta that due to the pandemic, their prices will be going up and sadly I’m rarely coming here. Overall the sushi is great and plenty of seating during the afternoon times. Customer service is sometimes okay but they have to work on that.
