This is a fantastic spot for a meal! The restaurant has a lively bar on both the first and second floors, with outdoor seating out front and a deck upstairs. The decor gives the place a great, inviting vibe. We were a party of five and sat in a booth on the second floor. Our server was attentive, the food arrived hot and quickly, and the portions were generous at reasonable prices. Friends brought us here while visiting, and I’d definitely come back if I lived nearby.

I love this local place ! This atmosphere was very cool. Fun music, great decor and a welcoming lay out. The prices were very reasonable and they had plenty of options. I enjoyed the black and blue burger and my girlfriend really liked her meal too she had the pastrami sandwich. We also got the chips and dip app with fresh guacamole queso and salsa ! All very pleasant. The drinks were fun and creative as well. We had a blueberry habanero marg and a fresh take on an old fashioned. Overall I really enjoyed this restaurant and will be back !!

Stopped in the other day for an impromptu date night where we wanted to try something new. Happened to hit happy hour and so sampled a little bit of everything. Everything was amazing! This place punches way above their weight. The standout was the pastrami slider with their house-smoked pastrami. I’m a bit of a smoked meat nerd, and I have to say this pastrami may have been the best I’ve had. The other standout was “cabronas casa”, griddled corn bread smothered with green chili. So tasty.
Service was also excellent, with everyone we interacted with walking the line of attentive but not overbearing perfectly.
The overall vibe of the place was very comfortable, quiet enough to have an actual conversation, but lively enough to be energizing.
Overall a great value considering the quality of the food and the experience. I will be making excuses to visit again!

What am amazing place! The service is outstanding, they were very attentive and friendly. The Colorado Bison burger was absolutely delicious and the prices are fantastic. Also recommend the deconstructed key lime pie, incredible. Atmosphere is fun, though it can get a little loud.

This is our second time at Waterloo and it was awful!
Our first time the food was good, this was several years ago, the onion rings were excellent and the burger was delicious.
The bottled beer menu is very limited probably why we didn’t go back sooner.
But the atmosphere is awesome!
Our second visit was a nightmare!
The burger was overdone and dry, the bun tasted old and the onion rings were hard and terrible as if they were sitting under hot lamp for hours!
My partner got the stirfry bowl and said it was mediocre. The noodles did not taste fresh.
The server was sweet but apparently New ???? An experienced server would’ve noticed when a person does not eat food and would normally check in.
We could’ve rectified this situation, but the only time the server came back was to pick up my partners bowl and asked me if I wanted a box.
They did comp my basic plate (as I did not eat it) but the up charges were not rectified.
I went in Hungry and left Hungry / Angry.
The experience was so bad I called to complain to the manager.
He was gracious and apologized, offering a gift card.
I thought that was kind but I’m not sure I want to subject myself to this type of experience again.

Interesting decor with an aggressive, loud feel. The noise level was very loud between the music and clientele. Our waitress seemed to be serving the entire floor and would take a while to get around to us two. Got the nachos and was kinda grossed out by the copious amount of cheese sauce and the greasy meat. My wife got tacos and was not too satisfied with them either. And, then there was an issue with the bill due us having apparently received an “older menu” with cheaper prices.. While the bill was corrected in our favor after several minutes of deliberation between the waitress and manager, I still don’t believe we will be back for another turn.

Love that they had a couple vegan/vegetarian options. The balcony seating upstairs was cool, inside was a little loud and dark. Service was okay, and the food didn’t take very long. Our waitress seemed kind of new, but another waiter quickly stepped in to help serve tables. The tomato, pickles and lettuce on my burger were super fresh! Louisville is such a cute town, can’t wait to visit again. ☺️

A+ brisket. Great Texas style bbq. Fried okra was huge and delicious.
