I have no idea why this place isn’t rated much higher. We were there for Fish Fry Friday. I had the Grouper with mashed potatoes, Cole slaw and corn. My friend had the spaghetti and meatballs. We also had the Conch fritters. Everything but the corn was homemade and delicious. The fried grouper was one of the best fried fish I’ve had anywhere in my travels. I really enjoyed discovering hidden gems like this place in my travels. Our waitress was so nice and patient. Make sure you save room for the key lime pie. Go ahead and get the whole pie and take what you don’t finish to your hotel. Maybe get two so you can take one home.

Was seated immediately. The restaurant atmosphere is interesting (see pictures). The waitress fit the the place. I ordered the vegetarian omelette with a side of bacon and they were both very good.

What a hidden gem!!! Located in the Farmer’s Market complex, it is hidden in plain sight. They source their ingredients directly from the farmers market and you could easily tell that everything was fresh.
While the decor and atmosphere wasn’t overly flashy, the service was great and the food was even better!!!!
If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in and support this local owned family restaurant!!!!

We had a delicious lunch; chopped steak with gravy & onions, real mashed potatoes & medley with squash & zucchini. It was best we’ve ever had!

I was looking for a place to eat breakfast in the area that wasn’t a chain and wasn’t mexican. This was the only place that I found and I was excited to try it. I wanted to like it I really did but the food was not good at all. It was very Bland and the biscuits were very small and flats, not Fluffy at all. You can see how small they are underneath the gravy. The service was quick and the servers were very nice.

Great diner in the Farmer’s Market. Good breakfast food. Drinks seem a little expensive ($3.50 for a cup of Lipton tea?)

Great attention to us making sure we were treated well and fed well too. Loved the Chicken n dumplings. Spaghetti and meatball were as good. Service top of the line.
I always say, you don’t need white table cloths to be a five star restaurant.
Thank you for a great meal.

Old school country kitchen. Great food at a decent price. We’ve been here a few times in the past for breakfast. The portions are always fulfilling. They offer a delicious southern breakfast that hits the spot. The grits were a great consistency and buttery. My eggs were scrambled well and the corned beef hash was excellent. The overall breakfast experience was satisfactory and the service was great.

In town for the Homestead rodeo, and we found a gem of a restaurant. We had breakfast everyday while in town. We had a omelet stuff with fresh vegetables, fried cabbage, grits, hashbround, slice tomatoes, pancakes, French toast, eggs over easy with rye & white toast.
It was an incredible farmers breakfast. The service was also great, with a persinal touch, like an ole dinner feel.
Everything everyday we went was great,
thanks to staff.
