Came through the drive through ordered 2 3 pc meals i think my total came up to 30 something i tell the cashier wouldnt it be cheaper for me to do a 12 pc like fam meal she says yes rerings me up my total comes to under 30. I had to park and wait which is fine especially if its fresh i got it home and couldnt eat the mac and cheese and wasnt crazy about the bisquits very dry. But the spicy tenders were good. But my 87 yr old momma wouldnt eat it because it was a bit too spicy for her.

I placed an online order and my husband came to pick it up for me while I was on the phone with him and coupd hear everything. They handed him a cold box so he asked for it to be remade. The manager argued with him and was incredibly disrespectful. The manager also lied and told him that they make the order once it comes in when I had just placed the order 2 minutes before. This manager was a man with a heavy accent (not that that was a problem, this is more for identification purposes). I know in today’s market it can be hard to find good management, but this guy is clearly not fit for the position if he can’t accept feedback.

Me personally, this particular Popeyes isn’t my cup of tea. The food is on the greasy and heavy side, and while I know that’s part of the Southern-style charm, it just didn’t hit right for me. The chicken was flavorful but a bit too oily, and the sides were rich to the point of feeling weighed down afterward.
The staff was friendly and the service was quick, so I’ll give them credit for that. But if you prefer lighter, fresher meals or something less fried, this might not be the best choice.

I was having an issue using my reward points for a free side, but Oscar helped me get it resolved. Great customer service, & the food at that location is always very fresh & yummy!

No one needs to be told that Popeyes is currently the best national chicken chain. But it’s actually pretty good. Very juicy, the breading is on properly, quality breading. Decent sides. As for this particular branch it had a bit of a blase edge, many probably meaningless cut corners but they add up to a noticable thing.

This location refused to honor its advertised Tuesday two piece meal deal price. The window employee said she was instructed by her manager not to offer that price unless a customer specifically asks for it upon initial drive threw interaction. I asked them to honor the price once I got to the window assuming it was just a simple mistake. It was not, the manager even came to the window and outright refused to correct the price. I took my card back the left. Will never buy from this location again.

I only go to Popeyes about every two months, but when I do, I make the drive here. It’s the reliably best one between the on MLK or here. Love me some spicy fried chicken and mashed potatoes.
