I’ve been to Karai about 3 times and the food has always been delicious. I tried a tuna rice bowl this time around and the warm rice with nice cool tuna sashimi was perfect. The soft boiled egg that came with it was a bit too cold for my liking but was still very good. I got an old favorite the Jurassic Park roll and it did not disappoint. My partner has never been and he got Chashu Buns, and Koroke. He was very pleased with both. I tasted the Koroke and it was very crispy, and warm. The sauce with it seemed like a type of balsamic sauce, it had a very distinct taste but went great with the Koroke and lemon. The service was a little slower this time but they were busy-ish and still very polite.

We stopped in about 6:45 and were seated immediately. It’s a very nice environment and the hostess and waitress were very kind and helpful. Water was brought out immediately and my wife ordered a cocktail which was very good (something with grapefruit i think). I skipped the drink but we settled on a few hand rolls. We were both thrown off by them coming out un rolled as we’ve never experienced that but they were pretty good. Not the best but tasty. Both of us got the ramen, the flavour was fantastic! The only thing that i didn’t like was there was very little protein in either of ours. The bowls were huge but my wife and I both only had 3 small slices of meat. For the price etc. I expected more. It was good enough we will definitely try again.

Stopped by for lunch on our way to the airport, staff was friendly and place was clean.
Ordered multiple rolls, sushi was absolutely amazing. Party ordered some additional items for lunch that were also good, however, should have ordered more sushi as that seemed to be the best part of the meal.
Overall great experience and will likely return when in the area for sushi!

Karai Ramen + Handroll is always a delight to visit. I’ve been a few times – always at lunch. We normally order the “Ramen and Sushi Combo”, where you get to pick one ramen dish and one sushi roll. You get all of this food for $14.50 which is fantastic value for the quantity and quality!
The past time, I got the Creamy Sesame Vegetable Broth and a Miami roll. The broth is always so good and full of flavor – not to mention the bowl you receive is huge! I’ve also had the pork broth before and it’s also very good and the meat is very tender. We also got their Shredded Chicken Lunch Box ($11.50), which also came with so much food! For our two items we chose the California Roll and Seaweed salad that were both tasty. Can’t wait to eat here again!

We celebrated good scan results and my remaining in remission at Karai today. Husband and I both had the chicken lunch box and we ordered a Sex in the City roll and an appetizer plus we both ordered Coke. The entire meal was around $50 which was an excellent price for everything we had. The service was good and the staff was friendly. While we were waiting for our food (which did not take long at all) I looked around at the restaurant. It was clean and the decor was interesting and created a perfect vibe. The tempura vegetables were among some of the best I have ever eaten.

I took my kids to this place because I was craving ramen. We were warmly welcomed and given suggestions. This place was amazing! Even though I live more than an hour from it, I’m counting down the days when I’m enjoying their ramen again. My children all downed their portions and then had seconds. Not only was each meal huge, it was a great price. Each bowl could easily feed two people. Thank you!!

Food and service were great! Our server, Maria was kind and knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were excellent. We had gyoza, the OMG roll, Sex in the City Roll, Shrimp pops, and Cheeky Ramen with medium spice. All dishes were wonderful. Was pretty loud, and thus the 4 star atmosphere score, but the place was 4.9 overall for us. Came here on a whim after having never even known of it’s existence. We will definitely be back.

First time here, and we loved it! Note from Wife: taste all sauces (or have one who can stand spice) before doing a full gyoza dip! The lunch specials are really nice. I suggest adding this to your lunch repertoire!

Everything was so good! I had the ramen and my boyfriend had the chicken teriyaki rice bowl. We tried the takoyaki and we had some dessert at the end. I can just say everything was so tasty. We will definitely be back!
