Came in for the 1st time, and it was delicious!! My husband ordered the combination basket (fish and tiger prawns) came with french fries and cole slaw. I ordered the soup/salad and bread (clam chowder). Plus 2 drinks each!!

Omg, SOOOOOOOO good! I had the shrimp po boy ($14.99) and it was so big I had to smash it down to get my mouth around it. The clam chowder bowl was phenomenal ($12.95). The bowl was crispy and chewy and perfect and the chowder absolutely on point. The clam strips were amazing too ($14.99) and a it was also a large portion I loved the trio of dipping sauces it came with We also had oyster shooters which were perfect (3.99). The food, prices and portions were very impressive. Chase our server was friendly, fun and thorough. I would highly recommend eating here. The parking is a bit tricky. We had to park at Saint Vincents and walk.

The laughing clam is a great place to eat with fair pricing. Everything I have eaten there has been phenomenal. Highly recommended place to eat in Grants Pass. They have cold beer on tap and great mixed drinks. The atmosphere is always popping, and there are good vibes. The fish and chips are super fire , and the clam chowder will rock your socks off.

The guy at our hotel recommended this place and I’m so glad he did. The food here was fantastic I had the fish and chips they were fried perfectly with an ale beer batter lightly battered just the way I like it crispy to and the fries were perfect to. I also had the clam chowder I didn’t ask but I would guess it was homemade because there was a lot of potatoes and clams and it was thick it was so good I wish I got more to bring home with me I don’t say that very often. My wife had the fried shrimp and ginger coleslaw. The wife didn’t like the coleslaw when it comes to coleslaw we are both very picky Don’t really like it anywhere. I didn’t mind it it wasn’t bad it was just different. We both had an Irish coffee which was more Irish than coffee I think which was perfect after our long drive I also had a couple shots of cazadores represado which I was so happy that they had it is my favorite tequila. Our waitress was awesome she kept coming back and making sure that we were taken care of and didn’t need anything else. I want to say her name was Nellie but then again I’m probably wrong.

We were driving through and decided to stop here. So glad we did! Friendly staff. Food was very, very good. I got the jambalaya and was unable to eat much of it because it had a kick to it but the flavor was incredible. Husband had blackened catfish and my son had cod. Both ate all of theirs. Great place!

Stopped by to try chowder and was left speechless by the great waitress with the hat. She was on it and knew everyone by name, had a great attitude, and was quick and professional. The steak was perfect, the shrimps were delicious, and I am officially a fan of clam chowder. Thanks guys!
