The food is very good. I had the fried fish lunch special. The fish and sides were well better than average. Trace was my waiter. The hostess said that we had the best. They told the truth. He was excellent. If you visit, ask for Trace. The entire staff was great.

I want to start off by saying every single staff member was very kind but the star of the show had to have been our server Trace! Trace was quick, VERY attentive and showed us his awesome personality! Trace is the best server I’ve ever met!
As far as the food goes, they had the best catfish ever! The breading was perfect and the pieces were huge! We both got the 4 piece catfish filets and it was delightful! Besides the catfish I would say the hush puppies and fried green tomatoes were the best! The coleslaw is sweet (I personally liked it) and the beans were mid in my opinion (could have used more seasoning and a little less soupy.)
I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes and catfish! I could probably get 2 orders of just the tomatoes honestly haha!
The only negative thing I have to say about my experience is all the servers and I believe a cook or someone else was standing there watching everyone eat which made me a little uncomfortable.
But in the big picture its not a deal breaker or anything. I still HIGHLY recommend Johnny’s if you want great seafood with a friendly atmosphere at a unbeatable price!

This place was referred to us by a friend. It was a little out of our way but so glad we decided to go. We both got chicken fried steak our sides were baked potato greens okra mash tators and pinto beans. Everything needed a little salt but was really good. The steak was good cut with NO gristle in it. You get a bowl of perfectly cooked hush puppies when you are seated. Plan to go again soon because I luv fried catfish and want to try it.

My waitress was very nice, and checked on me regularly. I had the catfish fillets they said they were catfish to me they didn’t taste like a catfish. But they were fish. The fries and the beans were good. At the time I was the only customer in the restaurant and I’m glad for that because the young man at the front desk dropped the F bomb about four times…

Upon entering the facility, the customer service was great….however the waitress did not have a name tag on. When the salt got wet the waitress (Bri)….kindly replaced it. She was kind and checked to see if we needed anything. And the young people in the place WORKING…was Awesome! Great Service! I love the way they put the plastic wrap on the tables! It makes me comfortable in the cleanliness. I give it a 4!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you Bri! Thank you Johnny’s! Great Food!

This is what i was given on a take out order, I did receive a email asking me what happened after i complained on the website and asked to be contacted. This is what i found when i got home and opened my bag also the order was wrong and the bottom of the bag was full of grease .I forwarded the same photos and that was the end of it i even sent my phone number but they didn’t bother to use it but my group and i will not be going back as we always would eat thereI a simple conversation would had resolved the matter but they choose not to call and discuss the matter at all and i feel very offended and feel a call would had been the very least they could had done. One thing for sure and that is i diffidently don’t want or need anything for free its just the principle of the matter.

It is a simple dining restaurant, nothing fancy or extravagant but clean and sanitary. The service was ok, waitress did not engage but to ask what we would like to drink, eat, and drop off check. My fish poboy looked fulfilling until I realized it was all bread. The fish strip was rather thin and there were only a few pieces on the sandwich. The fries were good and the food was served hot. My wife enjoyed her fried fish & okra plate. The fish was not over seasoned but was satisfying. I would probably try her plate next time if I was to return.
