Easy to miss on the three lane road, but hard to pass up once you’ve tried it. Great service, fast delivery, no language barrier, consistent and delicious food at a very fair price. You can get three tacos and a drink for about $10.
They have a good variety of options across the Mexican food fare spectrum (burrito, fajitas etc.), but their tacos are the star of the show with many variations. We had asada, carnitas, and cabeza. You may have the normal “street style” toppings of chopped onions and cilantro, or you can change over to cheese, tomato and lettuce (a.k.a. “gringo style”). They serve the tacos on corn tortillas by default, but you can ask for flour tortillas.
The place is small, but cost and friendly. Best for two to four people, but they have one corner able to accommodate more if you get there early enough. You will definitely find a taco for you with nearly 20 different fillings including fish, beef, pork, and chicken. You can pay one by one at the register and don’t have to mess with splitting checks.

I have been here countless times over the years and the food is always consistently good! I recommend this place to all my friends and people visiting Charleston. The prices are fair and the service is also great! I usually order take out, but sit down service is just as good.

Stopped by this restaurant today to grab dinner to go. I ordered carnitas quesadilla and guacamole. WOW. I was really impressed with how good the food is. Very much enjoyed my dinner while visiting the area. Anyone in the area, RUN and try Tiki Taco. You won’t be disappointed.

Tiki Taco is an absolute gem in Charleston, SC! The food was delicious and truly authentic Mexican food some of the best we’ve had. We tried the street corn, tacos, and quesadillas, and everything was packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the service was great too. This will definitely be our go to stop every time we’re in Charleston. Highly recommend 100% worth a visit!

Came in on a Monday night (2-24) and was able to get a table right away. The service was excellent. The food came out fast and hot. The food is priced very reasonable. They have the best street tacos I’ve had in a long time. The place is pretty small inside, but they do have outdoor seating as well. I would say it’s worth trying out.

Hands down, the most delicious Mexican food I’ve eaten on the East Coast. Ordered Cheese dip, Mexican street corn, 4 separate taco flavors.
Cecina-Thinly sliced beef, salted and marinated in lemon juice.
Pollo-Chicken seasoned with spices and peppers mixed with onions.
Cabeza-Beef/Cheek meat seasoned and has a higher fat content than the asada.
Asada-Chopped beef slightly seasoned and grilled to perfection.
I have ZERO complaints or criticisms. All of the food we ordered is delicious, savory, and different from other restaurants. We will definitely be dining in or getting take-out from this establishment many more times. MANY MORE.

Truely authentic Mexican cuisine! The tacos were slamming having many different meats to choose from the fajitas were also very delicious! Everything was extremely well priced. My only issue was the margarita tasted alcohol-free…. We stumbled upon this place and so happy we did! We had a most pleasant experience!!

Stopped by here for an early lunch and by the time we left the place was packed. We got the chips and cheese sauce with chorizo to start. I could easily eat a gallon of this. For my tacos I couldn’t decide and went with shrimp, fish and the pork belly. The fish was my favorite, but I might skip on the pork belly next time. The tacos were 7.5/10 but the price was a 10/10!
