Santi’s Mexican Restaurant is a great little spot here in South Carolina. We were just passing through and looking for somewhere to eat when we found this place, and it turned out to be a really good choice.

The service was amazing, the food came out quickly, and everything was fresh with wonderful flavor. Honestly, everything turned out perfectly. Add in the convenient location, and it made for a great stop.

If you’re nearby and looking for solid Mexican food with friendly service, this place is definitely worth checking out.

We went to Santi’s Restaurante for lunch and they greeted us at the door and seated us. Our server brought us the menus. From the drink menu, we ordered a Spicy Margarita and a Mojito.

Meanwhile, our server got the chips and salsa. We were looking at the lunch menu and saw that a lot of the food options either had shredded chicken or different meat that we don’t really like.

The server bought us our drinks! We enjoyed both of them. They tasted fresh, and it was the perfect way to spend an afternoon. Plus, the chips and salsa were amazing. The salsa was made fresh, and the chips were hot.

I had a great experience at Santi’s Restaurante Mexicano on Meeting Street.

I ordered 3 tacos, and they were fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. The service was friendly and attentive without being rushed, and the food came out quickly. The atmosphere has a welcoming, laid-back vibe that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your meal. It feels like a local gem in Charleston, and I can definitely see myself coming back again soon.

Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Mexican food!

I came with my family of 6. They helped with all my dietary requests as well as for my nephew who is very picky. The service is super nice and understanding. Place is super cute. Food came out incredibly fast. Food was very tasty and good portions. Music is hispanic and good. Definitely a good time!!

I frequent Charleston, and this is always my first stop. To start, the chips are actually fried and delicious, and pair perfectly with the house made salsa. I have tried most of the menu items, but once I discovered the camarones a la Diabla, have never looked back. It is the most delicious sauce for this common dish that I have ever tried. I have dreams about it. The space is fun and the vibes are immaculate.

It was the perfect day to sit outside and Santi’s has this amazing jungle feel to their outdoor patio with the sun peeking through the trees and the nice breeze was so nice. They had a pretty extensive menu and a lot of options so I was feeling torn. They offered authentic Mexican tacos which I love (American style was an option too)
Our servers were two very nice ladies and were very attentive despite how busy they were. I was happy to find out they had Caipirinha’s!
My friend nachos were a huge, I got the enchiladas verde which was good and the star dish was the camarones a la diablo. If you love shrimp, garlic and spice. You HAVE to get this dish. It was seriously addicting and you got this delicious homemade guacamole that they put back inside a half shell which I thought was so cool.
I am literally only eating that from now on when I come here. It was a great time with friends and food!

Very nicely decorated with a ton of pictures decoration and music
Service was quick, I think we had our food in less that 15 minutes and it was delicious. We will be back again loved the food and atmosphere.

Excellent customer service- very sweet and attentive people. I was disappointed they didn’t have pineapple LOL since I literally eat pineapple on almost everything. I literally eat pounds of pineapple in a month. Excellent food served very quickly despite being very busy. Absolutely recommend.

I always come here for lunch and they’re just consistently amazing. It’s truly authentic Mexican food.. The only place so far that I’ve come to that knows how to make a Mojito. We always have Pablo as our waiter and then we go to Blum Coffee to get some work done and enjoy a hot cup of coffee and pastry. This has already become our routine and we all love it. That’s the beautiful thing about Charleston, especially downtown charleston, that there’s great Mexican food, there’s great coffee shops and together i’s a winning combination. I had the Quesadilias and they were absolutely delicious. My friend had the Burrito and the meat inside the Burrito is like shredded beef.It’s amazing. My other friend had the Carne Asada and she just couldn’t get enough of it. Highly recommend this Mexican Restaurant
