Amazing place for authentic Indian cuisine and culture! The restaurant is very large, lots of seating that fills up fast! Food is excellent, slightly smaller portions and bit pricey but affordable. Mysore masala dosa was great even though they didn’t have mint chutney. Masala Chai is fantastic and lots of options for desert! Highly recommend!

Food was great! I’m a non vegetarian, don’t usually eat vegetarian out that often, but this was great!! We were a group of 5, we got the 3 appetizers- paneer pepper fries (the best!), chilli baji and mini idli. And then got like a thali, multiple dosas(mainly Mysore) and ended with filter coffees and rasmalai. Everything was very good.

Our attendant Abdul was very friendly. Giving us more than enough time to make up our minds on WhatsApp to order, suggesting today’s specials, etc.

Lol was busy eating and forgot to take any photos of the food, but well presented.

The restaurant itself is very spacious and clean. The restrooms were also very well maintained and clean. Loved the restaurant ambience too.

Plus lots of parking spots!

It was an amazing experience to drive to this restaurant, which is 2 hours away from me. Their staff Abdul and Sai are super friendly and provide an excellent experience. Abdul recommended items that were best suited for our taste. We tried the dosas, puran poli, and the brownie dessert. The chutneys with the dosa were mouth watering and delicious- it was hard to believe that one of them was made out of bottle gourd. Also, the brownie dessert was delectably sweet and made of rava. I definitely recommend this spot yo everyone.

I was incredibly keen to try A2B Indian Restaurant after hearing numerous glowing reviews, including a stellar 4.8-star rating from 7.4k reviews and a passionate recommendation from my fiancé’s South Indian friend claiming they have the best masala dosas in the state. Given the difficulty of getting a reservation at my current favorite, Semma, this was meant to be my new go-to. Unfortunately, my Saturday evening experience was an overall big letdown.

We arrived to a packed restaurant, with the parking lot at capacity, which certainly spoke to A2B’s popularity. The interior was spacious, offering plenty of booths and tables, yet it was still quite full. We were seated quickly after a short 5-minute wait. However, once we sat down, the waiting game began. There was an iPad on the table with the menu, but we couldn’t place the order ourselves. After nearly 15 minutes had passed with no server approaching, we finally flagged someone down. When the waiter did arrive, they offered no introduction and simply asked for our order before taking the iPad and leaving.

For drinks, the Masala Chai and a Mango Lassi (made with pulp, not fresh mangoes) were both good; no complaints there. We ordered the main event, two Mysore Masala Dosas with the potato masala on the side. The food came out alarmingly fast, within like three minutes, which immediately made me suspicious. How the food was presented was perhaps the most jarring part of the experience, the small separate dishes for the potato masala and the chutneys were placed directly on top of my dosa! That’s not hygienic at all, and to have serving dishes underside directly contacting the food was a bad look and presentation. Beyond the questionable presentation, the quality of the dosa was deeply disappointing. It was soggy and not crispy whatsoever. The speed suggested it was possibly pre-made and sitting under a heat lamp.

The only saving grace of the entire meal was the sambar, which was genuinely good, almost as good as my mom makes it. Given this experience, I completely lost interest in trying the Palak Paneer or Malai Kofta I had initially planned on. We finished with the Pista Kulfi for dessert, which was just okay, with a heavy taste of cardamom that you’ll love only if you’re a big fan of that spice.

While we were there, another family in front of us complained to the manager about the service, but the manager looked like he didn’t care since business is booming for the restaurant. I wouldn’t come back here again; there are much better spots for dosas and vegetarian Indian food. This was an overall disappointing experience.

First time in this chain restaurant. Definitely exceeded my expectations. Came on Friday night right after opening so no problem getting seats. Service was super fast and attentive. Thanks to Abdul for taking care of us. Dosas and Vadai were great. We loved that masala can be served separately. Also masala Chai was great . Definitely would come back.

I suggest its better to go to princeton..

Despite of reading “RUDE to customers” reviews i have travelled all the way from NYC

Honestly 5/5 for their food but -5 for service..

Please team take on a positive note to improve i dont want spoil any name of A2B neither you..

I have been here many times food is always topnotch but service..never..

I know you ask us to type your name on reviews but service is somthing different but included in business

Please donot expect somthing else from customers if you havent recieved their presence properly

Day was busy with many customers today will be an excuse.. but thats the point how you manage when its busy is what it matters…

I hope team responds on this issue..i will just keep updating everyday

The place definitely scores very high on authentic food taste and menu variety. Their popularity is well gained but be aware that the tables get filled up very quickly, so finding a spot on a busy afternoon/evening could be a problem.

However, service can improve….here is an example, we had 4 persons in our group, there were 3 orders for different kinds of dosas and 1 order for a Ceylon parotta. While 3 dosa orders were promptly served, the order for parotta took a while, which resulted in an awkward situation where 3 persons had food in front of them but could not start eating till the last one in the group was served. It is generally expected that all orders for the group will be served simultaneously or at least be specific if something was going to take additional time. Something for A2B management to please consider to improve diner experiences.
