It gets packed on the weekends.
The wait could take long, but it’s worth it.
Love their thin crust pizza the best!
Good selection of drinks too!

Great food and atmosphere. I loved that they had several gluten-free options available. It is located in a cool location downtown. Hours are open longer than most other restaurants in the area. Definitely will be back if I am in town.

This place has a stylish loft vibe, with an industrial touch. The food is great, not too pricey, and the atmosphere is super relaxed. The service was friendly and helpful. I’m definitely planning to return. It was a spontaneous choice for dinner, and I’m so glad we went—we weren’t sure what to expect.

Oddest pizza margherita I’ve ever had. If you like whole garlic and soggy basil underneath a mountain of cheese, then this is the pie for you. I don’t, sorry. I prefer to enjoy my crust and marinara sauce. The ratio is completely off. You would have thought I ordered a garlic pizza, and as far as I know most margherita pizzas don’t have garlic as a topping. I had to laugh when I opened the box because I could not believe it. 1/5, edible yet expensive, and not what I wanted.

We first visited The Starving Rooster last year for a dine-in going away party, and we’ve continued going back for dinner since. Every visit has been a great experience.

I always order the pizza, even though it changes each time, and it never disappoints. The portions are amazing, and the food always tastes fresh. You can tell care goes into what they serve.

The restaurant is clean, relaxed, and comfortable, making it a nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal. Service has always been decent and consistent. Prices feel fair, and ordering is just like any normal sit-down restaurant, which makes everything easy.

They do have a bar, though we haven’t tried it yet since we usually bring our daughter. Overall, The Starving Rooster is a solid local spot and one we’d definitely recommend.

So I dont understand why this place is not busy all the time. I have been to almost all the restaurants here in Minot my short time here and this by far is the best place I have eaten. We have bee a few times now. I will say one thing the food is not always consistent and that is not good but it is still much better than what else we have tried. Work on that consistency and we will continue coming back.

One of my few favorite place to eat in Minot. The service was amazing and the waiters were polite. Their food was great and the prices are worth it.

It’s just too loud for me. Service could be better, and the food wasn’t that bad.

Tried the cyclone pizza. Quite impressed by the quality of the toppings. Same with the menu. Interesting combinations you don’t normally see.

The service was fine, and we were checked regularly. A very laid-back staff.

The industrial atmosphere is not my thing, but the open atmosphere would be much better in the summer with the garage doors open.

Overall, if you like pizzas, it’s worth a stop.

Driving back to Canada I stopped at this restaurant yesterday seeking a nice pasta. The spaghetti and meatballs were nice, a bit salty for my taste, but that is just my pallet as I normally do not use salt. I also ordered the chili as I love a hearty chili, and it had a rustic spicy flavor. The balsamic dressing on the salad was tangy. The meal was a plethora of flavors, and I will definitely be back again.
