We were picking up our car at the dealership in Bloomington and decided to stop at Jason’s Deli for dinner. We’d never been to this location before and we love their food. The East Peoria location closed unexpectedly and it’s been a while since we’ve eaten there so we were looking forward to it.
This Bloomington location is definitely larger than the one we were used to, and I loved how the seating is somewhat divided so everyone can enjoy a little privacy. They have a beautiful salad bar, and honestly… where else can you get free ice cream for dessert?!
I tried the barbecue brisket sandwich for the first time and it was actually really good—could’ve used just a little more barbecue sauce, but I’d definitely order it again. I also had the chicken pot pie soup, which is my favorite there, and my husband got the Irish potato soup, which is equally delicious.
We really enjoyed our relaxed, private dinner and will absolutely be back!

Wife loved the salad so much She wanted me to write a review about it. 10 out of 10 best salad I had since we moved to normal. Had it doordashed so next time I will have to go there to see about the service and atmosphere

I was hesitate to eat at a deli. But, wow! I was surprised. The service was great and friendly. The salad bar had a nice variety, the sandwiches were big, delicious and very filling. I felt the price was fair. The 3 of us ordered sandwiches with chips, salad bar and drink. About $20 each and included the muffins and ice cream. The lines to order moved quickly and the food brought to you. We have added this to our places to return to. Give it a try. Sorry I didn’t get the menu this time.

I wouldn’t eat at this Deli; they have no idea how to make a sandwich. I ordered from the drive-through, and when I arrived at my destination, half of my sandwich was gone. Not only were the sandwich items just thrown into the to-go box, but I was missing half of the croissant, and it literally had a piece of cheese sitting at the top of the box. It was disgusting.

Stopped here because they had a separate gluten free (and vegetarian) menu. They had quite a few options, but many disclaimers (see picture). My sandwich was prepared in a container instead of on the cutting boards (like the other sandwiches). Prices were reasonable and the gf bread was actually really good for gf standards.

My regular go-to order is a California Club. I love that I can get steamed veggies in a drive through but my most recent visit took me inside.
I realized I haven’t checked out their menu in a long time and I’m excited to come back to check it out. (I still stuck with my favorite sandwich)
Their salad bar looked incredible. Fruit was fresh and service was stellar.
10/10, will be back.

Jason’s deli was a jewel, great NY style pastrami sandwich on sourdough bread, so many choices, amazing fresh salad bar, great end of meal ice cream. Will be back . Highly recommend Jason’s Deli.

i often travel with big groups as a member of a competition team for school, and i have NEVER had such a GOOD experience when we go out to get food as a big group!! usually it is hectic, but as soon as we walked up to the counter there was a very nice young woman who helped us very efficiently, we got our food QUICK, and all the employees were EXTREMELY helpful!!!! thank you at jason’s deli for making an experience so stress free :)!

Clean! Staff is great! The cook staff is always on top of it, and they put out exactly what you want and expect!
Sal’s bar is excellent, clean, cold and always well stocked!

I came here the other night for the first time to get take outs. The employees weren’t very friendly. The guy that took my order seemed like he was rushing it to get it over with. I purchased the Chipotle Chicken Avocado Panini, and to my surprise, it was delectable. The sandwich was flavorful, the other downside is that the amount of avocado I got was disappointing. There was barely any on there. I am curious as to what the other items on the menu taste like. I will definitely be visiting again for the food.
