I haven’t been here in over 15 years. So I figured it would be a nice place to go back to and my husband and I went early enough we didn’t have to worry about crowds. Our server was very attentive and nice and we were seated in a place that wasn’t too loud. We got the cheese curds and they were by far the best cheese curds I’ve ever had! They come with a sriracha mayo and I could have eaten the entire plate myself without sharing, so good! My husband got the Baja burger with the beer battered fries, he said the burger was very good, he couldn’t finish the beer battered fries because he said they were filling. Wished it came with the other mayo, not the chimichurri mayo it came with. I got the turkey sandwich and it was good, don’t love my sandwiches hot, but it was grilled. I also got a Diet Coke and it was nice and crisp. We got the bill and it was slightly shocking to see it was almost $65 for bar food. There was a percentage added on for “rising food costs”. I know it is expensive to eat out nowadays, but almost $80 for two basic bar menu dishes and an appetizer and Coke and coffee is shocking. Probably won’t be back again for a while. Was the food good? Sure, was it worth $80? Nope.

Atmosphere was awesome. I really liked it. It’s real chill vibe. I like the hardwood tables and the design.

Service was pretty good. We didn’t have to wait long. We were seated right away. That was a plus and a Michigan game day weekend Friday night

The area was popping with people that’s for sure

I ordered the mac & cheese, which were just noodles with unmelted cheese on top and some sauce on the bottom. I had to send it back only because didn’t have very much taste to it. I also did add the grilled chicken on top. They took it off the bill, which was really nice of them.
I think of mac & cheese and usually it’s like creamy melt it yummy cheese everywhere stringy but this was not. I don’t even think there’s a one star available for that mac & cheese.

Friends had the Smashburger and the fish tacos and they say they were enjoyable

The beer battered fries were a little heavy for myself, but overall, they tasted pretty good

The cheese curds were crack! I would return again and get the cheese curds a Smashburger and an IPA

So I’d say the only negative is the mac & cheese so if you guys are reading this review, please add some melted cheese to your mac & cheese

But yes, I would recommend this restaurant if some friends said hey what’s going on in Ann Arbor? Is there any restaurants you recommend? I’d say sure give it a try.

The food was delicious and hot even though busy. The wood and brick is a great design. Their menu is so great we will come back for! Zack was an excellent server and kept the smiles coming! Thanks for such a great special lunch.

What a great brewery! I got a flight, and all of the beer was pretty tasty. While they did have a wide range of different beer types, Grizzly Peak definitely falls on the more traditional craft brewery side, not funky and experimental (which is neither a good nor bad thing). I would definitely recommend!

Food was wonderful! I had the chicken sandwich and it had a nice crisp and delicious sauce. I also got the beer-battered fries with the garlic aioli dip which was great!

However, I wish the server would have given us just a little more attention. It wasn’t that busy, and they never came by to refill waters or ask how we were.

I recently revisited Grizzly Peak Restaurant and was thrilled to see they brought back my all-time favorite dish—the Brewery Steak Sandwich! Without hesitation, I ordered it, and I’m so glad I did.

The atmosphere was just as inviting as I remembered, with its cozy, rustic charm, and the service was outstanding. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the experience even more enjoyable.

When my meal arrived, I couldn’t wait to take a bite of that steak sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The juicy, flavorful steak was cooked to perfection and paired beautifully with the crispy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside potato cake. It was just as delicious as I remembered, bursting with savory goodness that had me savoring every bite.

Grizzly Peak has once again earned its spot as one of my favorite dining destinations. If you haven’t tried this place yet, do yourself a favor and give it a visit—you won’t regret it. I know I’ll definitely be back for more!

The beer is very good and the food is great, but the atmosphere is everything you would expect from a burger and beer type of establishment!

You absolutely MUST try their beer battered French fries, and their hearth-cooked pizzas are amazing! I had the crabby patty, which was meh, okay. It was too much breading, not enough crab meat, then it was placed on a bun – but we absolutely loved everything else!

First time here.
I ordered smash burger with chips and it was absolutely delicious. What I liked about the burger was the bun, it wasn’t thick to fill you up after a few bites.
The chips were seasoned perfectly and they were so crispy.
My husband got the cheesesteak and he liked it so much.
The mac and cheese was also really good.
I highly recommend this place.

Wow this Smash burger and Steelhead Red ale is delicious! The beer is brewed here, tastes very fresh. The service staff is very friendly and professional. Seems pretty busy and Grizzly Peak Brewing Company is celebrating their 30th anniversary this year!
