This is how a diner should be. If I lived closer I would try to go at least once a week. Had the pancake plate and it was soooo good! Buttermilk pancakes… delicious, breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs and sausage… tasty, tasty. The coffee was fresh and delightful. Did I mention real maple syrup! Wanted to try their pumpkin pie but I was too full. Loved the atmosphere and the waitress was very sweet. The diner was warm and welcoming. Felt like you were in a scene from “Happy Days”. The Parkway dinner has a classic style American menu so I ordered a BLT with fries and it was fabulous. My brother ordered a club sandwhich with fries and was equally pleased. Service is great and because we were flying out it is a perfect location. Needless to say the airlines weren’t nearly as efficient as that was our last meal for 10 hours. Ah well. I highly recommend it.

I took my friend here for breakfast before dropping him off at the airport, and it was our first time visiting. The place was packed when we arrived around 9:30 AM, which we took as a good sign—it’s always a promising indicator when locals are willing to wait.
Right as we walked in, I noticed two open counter seats, though they were separated. I asked a couple entering ahead of us if they’d seen the seats, and the gentleman chuckled that he was too big to sit at the counter. Inside, another couple was still reviewing the menu, so I checked with the hostess to see if she’d mind us taking the counter seats, and she was more than accommodating.
I then approached two friendly young women already seated at the counter and asked if they’d be willing to scoot down so my friend and I could sit together. They kindly agreed—such a nice gesture that made our morning easier.
While the other couples waited for booths (and waited quite a while), we were able to sit right away thanks to the counter seating. Despite the crowd, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming.
We did wait about 30 minutes for our food, but with how busy it was, that felt completely reasonable. When the food arrived, it was absolutely worth the wait—everything was delicious. The service was attentive and friendly throughout our visit.
Overall, it was a great experience. Cozy, bustling, and full of charm—definitely a spot I’d return to.

The food was delicious and amazing. I had the French Toast Breakfast. The service was very friendly and helpful. Was greeted with a friendly smile by Jessica. Noise level was low so it was easy to talk and hear the person you are talking with. I will be back soon for another delicious breakfast.

In town for work. Came in for a late breakfast. The joint is an old school diner car. My coworker had some type of egg scramble. I ordered a Smash Burger with a salad.
The burger came out quickly so I thought it was going to be dry as a lizards back in summer in the Gobi desert. It was the polar opposite. It was juicy and the veg within was crisp and fresh, the side salad wasn’t too bad either. Tried their homemade balsamic vinaigrette…tasty. The young blonde waitress was cute as a button.

Parkway Diner might look like a big square building from the outside, but stepping inside is a completely different experience. The cozy interior feels like a vintage dining train or bus, giving it a nostalgic charm. The tiny windows add to the experience, offering a great view of moving cars and people outside.

Small diner that serves typical breakfast and lunch. The food was good but the portions were a little on the smaller side for the price. Atmosphere was typical of an American diner with stools at a counter seating and several booths. Service was fast and friendly. We would visit again if in the area.
