I travel all over the country for work and I love mexican food. This is in my top 5 places I have eaten. Outstanding food and excellent service. Also, first mexican restaurant that I’ve had bread pudding at.

Tacos were delicious! . I ordered 5 al pastor and 5 carnitas. This restaurant’s salsa is by far the best I’ve had. I ordered takeout, the wait wasn’t long. All of the food was packaged safely.

The parking at El Comino Mexican Grill is shared with other businesses within a small parking lot. Arriving at 1:30 PM we found an open spot. On entering, the restaurant is clean, bright and cheerful. The server was courteous and helpful. Complimentary chips and salsa before you order. The food was ready quickly, visually pleasing and a good temperature. Delicious flavors. We ate from the vegetarian section of the menu. Traditional, cheerful music plays. The bathrooms were immaculate and well appointed. We are visiting Greensboro, but if we lived here, this would be a regular visit.

Very good Mexican restaurant with great daily specials on food and drinks. Haven’t had anything I wouldn’t order again after visiting a few times.

I usually enjoy this place. The food is really good and people are usually kind. I got the burrito California which is always amazing. I recommend that and the Burrito Texano. They are tho very filling. But today 2/17/26 around 12:30-1pm there was a guy who was a completely god awful waiter. He was rude and brash. He never asked if I needed anything. He brought me no silverware with my food. He snatched my plate off the table without asking if I was finished or needed anything else and immediately said check are card and stormed to the back. I wasn’t even finished and planned to ask for a menu to place a take home order but I didn’t get the opportunity because he was absolutely so RUDE!! You can tell he had a problem with me and I’d said nothing out of the way and was kind to him but I must say if you don’t like serving black people sir you probably shouldn’t be a waiter in a restaurant. He should be fired if that’s how he treats paying customers.

Awesome Mexican restaurant with authentic cuisine. Don’t be fooled by the size of the place. Very friendly staff and excellent service. Everything that we ordered was so delicious. Chicken Tamales were our favorite. Margaritas and Michelada were well made and packed a punch. Do not miss their bread pudding. We will be going back again !! Definitely recommend

My overall experience of the food here has been absolutely fantastic! Even the green salsa has a delightful kick to it, unlike that vinegar taste that many places have. So many people struggle to get it just right, but this one truly shines, especially with the ceviche tostadas! I also had the guacamole dip, which was incredible. The pupusa cheese paired with the accompanying sauce was so good that it didn’t even make it out of the parking lot! It’s incredibly delicious and definitely worth the price. And let’s talk about the nacho chips—they’re just perfect! Warm, not too thick, and not too thin. And the mango drink? Oh my goodness! I’ve already tried the Jamaica drink, but this one really took me to another level of comfort. The ambiance is fantastic! Overall, this place is amazing, and I’m not just saying that—this is genuinely good! This is probably the best Mexican restaurant I’ve experienced in North Carolina so far, and I say this as a proud San Diegian!

The service was excellent. And I was really impressed with the food. I had a combination, chicken burrito, chicken, quesadilla, and a Chalupa. It was all delicious, but their idea of a Chalupa is what I think of as a tostada. A crispy corn flat tortilla. My understanding is that Chalupa‘s are made of corn flour, but they’re soft not crunchy. Anyway, everything was really tasty, including the standard issue salsa. It’s probably the best standard issue salsa I’ve had in Greensboro. And the spicy salsas (red and green…you have to ask for them) are very good also. I was very pleased. It was just so cold in there. Bring a sweater.
