We love this place. Used to live locally and are now in VT. When we travel we use BDL as it is a nice sized airport and we know our way around. And we plan our trip around 2 visits to J & G. We dine in the day we arrive and get a take out grinder (the roast beef is amazing) for the trip home.

Had the large tuna salad platter, it was enough for two meals and my wife had the shrimp over angel hair pasta with a salad and fresh garlic bread. They were very reasonably priced and both were served with generous portions. The wait staff were very friendly and courteous.they also have great pizza and an extensive menu.

We have eaten here many times since moving to the area in 2022. Unfortunately, there isn’t a lot of consistency. Sometimes the food is very good and sometimes it is not. Look over your take out items, before leaving the restaurant. The staff are all very nice and the service is excellent.

I called to place a pick up order and I believe the man who answered is the owner. (Thick Italian, maybe Greek accent) This is the second time he’s been completely rude to me. The first time the pizza I ordered “wasn’t pizza, it’s soup”. This time I ordered 2 salads. I asked for a different cheese and to add Cajun chicken. Whoopdeedoo. To that I got, “what is this, make your own salad?” REALLY?! I almost hung up right there I was so ticked. Told him I’d ordered it in the past and it wasn’t a problem. “No no no. I’ll do it. What else?” Nothing, thank god. I gave 3 stars because the food is great but wow, for an owner to speak to paying guests like that is absolutely unreal and uncalled for. RUDE!

This was a great place! We found it by searching for places to eat. We had just finished the New England Air Museum and it had just what we wanted for food. It was kid-friendly and had kid food. The selections were not overwhelming or overpriced. The waitress we had was very nice and welcoming and great with my son. He got an awesome pepperoni pizza and my mom and I got chicken franceses. It was great. I would recommend this place for sure in this area!

I absolutely love the pizza here, the owner/men are very polite and nice behind the register however the women just stand there almost glaring when I walk in, never smile, and makes for a very uncomfortable environment/interaction.

My boyfriend and I ordered takeout in the middle of the day. We both ordered the dinner version of chicken Parmesan with penne pasta. The chicken Parmesan meal was very good. We enjoyed the red sauce and were picky. It came in three separate containers making it a bit difficult to eat. I only give the service 4 stars since we didn’t receive any silverware, napkins, or plates making it difficult to eat. I would definitely order from here again. I would just like to be given the tools and silverware and cutlery to eat the takeout food ordered. Really delicious!
