Hunan Village’s exhaustive halal buffet lunch in Chantilly is hands down the best deal in town. From a wide variety of starters and corn soups to both Chinese and Desi dishes, plus a generous spread of sweets, they’ve got it all.

The all-you-can-eat offer makes it perfect for family gatherings or group outings. With their spacious and well-kept party hall, it’s also a great spot for hosting events.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality, variety, and value in one place!

This buffet is absolutely worth the $24.99 price. The food choices were great—fresh Halal Pakistani afghani indian Chinese food tasty meats, hot dishes, and a nice dessert bar. Everything was seasoned well and constantly refilled. The restaurant is clean, the service is friendly, and you get way more value than what you pay. Highly recommend for families or anyone who loves variety.

Halal Hunan Village is a fantastic spot for anyone looking for halal food with bold flavors and variety. Their iftar buffet is especially impressive—perfectly timed for Ramadan, with a wide selection of freshly prepared dishes that make breaking fast enjoyable and convenient.

What really stands out is the unique mix of Chinese and Indian cuisine under one roof. You can enjoy classic Hunan-style Chinese dishes alongside flavorful Indian curries, rice, and appetizers, all clearly halal. The food is well-seasoned, hot, and consistently delicious.

The atmosphere is clean and family-friendly, service is attentive, and the buffet offers great value for the quality and variety provided. Highly recommended for iftar with family or friends, or anytime you’re craving halal Chinese and Indian food in the Chantilly area.

I’ve visited this location a few times, once for a friend’s wedding after-party and another time for a Galentine’s celebration with women of all ages. What really stood out to me about the buffet at Hunan Village is how well it caters to everyone’s tastes. Whether you’re young or old, there’s truly something for everyone.
That said, we did have a vegetarian friend who found the options a bit limited. While she was able to enjoy noodles, soup, samosas, and vegetable stir-fry, it would have been great to see a vegetarian curry or another hearty main option available.
The kheer and the Chinese dishes were absolutely phenomenal. The prices are also very reasonable for the wide variety of food offered. It’s honestly difficult to find good halal Chinese food, and Hunan Village truly exceeds expectations in that regard. The tea and kheer were the perfect way to end the evening.
A big thank you to the team I hope the quality continues to stay just as amazing!

We were a little confused when we walked in as to what type of business this was because of the lack of signage in the front. However, since it was a long-standing location for various restaurants that we have visited in the past, we wanted to try this food and the sign said open.

Not sure if they were prematurely open. The outdoor storefront signage is still not up, so I thought it was still “Indien Food with a twist” as part of that sign was still up (as shown in my picture). Their signs show they open at 11:00 a.m., we came after 12pm and they were still putting out dishes. There weren’t any labels, so we didn’t really know what all the dishes were. They had so many items, they were trying to add another buffet cart and spent over 10 minutes moving the other carts around…we ended up leaving before they finished setting up and putting out all the food. We were the only customers in there, even 1 hour after opening. Right before we left a couple people came to order takeout.

Service: they are very hospitable, accommodating and provide excellent customer service.

The price is $24.99/person, considering the number of items available, this is a pretty decent price.

There is plenty of parking available in front of the restaurant, also shared by other businesses.

Would I return? Sure, I would like to give them another chance once they are fully set up

Even if the food were not mediocre and the ambience visibly dirty, this place would still deserve zero stars based solely on the customer service from one employee, Khayam.

Before coming in, I called ahead and was told the seating was first come, first served. After I sat at a table, Khayam approached and abruptly told me to get up and move. I explained that I had called earlier and confirmed the seating policy. He insisted no one said that and effectively called me a liar. He then claimed the table was reserved and told me I could move to a broken table in the corner, adding that he was “doing me a favor” by even allowing us to eat there.

While we were eating, he repeatedly approached our table asking whether we had paid, creating unnecessary tension and a scene in front of other customers. Toward the end of the meal, he even tried to make one of our friends pay, despite the fact that the person had arrived late and had not eaten anything.

Employees who lack basic manners and respect significantly worsen an already poor experience. Aside from the service, the food itself was mediocre, the cups are extremely small, and the buffet area is chaotic and poorly organized. Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I have had. There are far better places to go.

Hunan Village in Chantilly is a fantastic new halal restaurant! They serve flavorful Asian and Indian/Pakistani dishes — everything we tried was fresh and delicious. The place is clean, the staff is welcoming, and they even have a party venue for events. A great addition to the community!

We had an iftar buffet, and I’ve never seen such variety anywhere other than a 5-star hotel. The food was very hot and fresh, everything tasted amazing, there was dessert, drinks, salad, everything, and it was very cheap at only $24.99. We were very pleased. It’s worth trying

Decent atmosphere. Food buffet kept clean and nice display. It would have been more pleasant with air-conditioning instead of the big, loud fan. The added background music was nice.
The Chinese part of the buffet was very good, but the Indo/Pak side was too greasy.
The price was reasonable.
It included “milk tea” and some kind of flavored water.

Good food in general. Tried only the Chinese variety. The kung pau chicken was good, as was the hot and sour soup. However, the Mongolian beef has way too much onion so much so that a scoop of it has mostly onions and very little beef. Quite disappointed. I ordered it more than once thinking it was not the norm. But I was disappointed each time. Will not be getting that again.
