We had a very good Lunch there. The crabs, both regular and spider crab were really delicious. The oysters as well and fish too. The crepe with salted caramel was also really tasty!

Nice atmosphere. Yes staff only speak limited English but good enough to have the menu explained. It is also a good idea to check/translate the menu beforehand to avoid unexpected bills. I didn’t have this problems but some comments said so.
Food is good. Unfortunately plate oysters ran out. The crab has little meat like any other crabs so the meal relies on a bucket of potato to fill. I ordered an extra soup as well. It was nice but staff accidentally took my spoon in the middle of the meal.
Service was quick and staff were nice. They chainsmoke at the entrance of the restaurant though.
Overall, it is a nice restaurant and it is enjoyable once you know the place.

Loved everything about Le Crabe Marteau. There are cheaper options available, but my sister and I got half a crab and 20 langoustines each so it was on the pricier side. It was worth the cost, however! The staff were very welcoming, helpful and had a great sense of humour. They recognised my extremely poor French and switched to English for me and even helped me appropriately cut into the crab when I clearly didn’t know what I was doing. All in all, it was a great experience! If you’re sensitive to noise, be prepared for the hammers…how else are you getting to the meat?
We walked in without a reservation and had to wait for a table, simply because of how busy their establishment is. We didn’t wait for too long – maybe 5-10 minutes. I recommend making a reservation just in case, but it isn’t mandatory

I’ve been here several times and always enjoyed the great food and good atmosphere. Last time I was there for lunch. Usually I enjoy their oysters and crabs. This time I had fish soup and scallops, both were excellent. Friendly service like always

Good place, filled with locals. No english menu but the staff can easily recommend you some dishes. I highly recommend the crab. Oysters are pretty meh – id advise you to skip and try them elsewhere.
