The first time my husband and I tried Ray’s was takeout from the new Odessa location, and we loved the food so much that we couldn’t wait to go back. So when we had family visiting from out of town, we were excited to take them. Since we were in Midland at the time we decided to go to that location. With that being said, we had a very disappointing experience here this Saturday. My husband and I were hoping for a nice sit-down dinner before they leave. We were seated and ordered both our drinks and food at the same time. We received our drinks fairly quickly, but that’s all we ever got. After waiting over an hour with no food, we started noticing that multiple tables who came in 30-45 minutes after us were being served. We counted at least 10 people who arrived after us and received their meals while we were still waiting. Each time we asked our waitress for an update, we were told “10 more minutes,” over and over again. Eventually she gave us the excuse that the ticket machine had stopped working, but that didn’t make sense when everyone who came in after us was getting their orders without issue. Come to find out our order got lost, information we got from the host that we had to ask and not our waitress who seemed to be avoiding us by that point. So we asked to just pay for our drinks and leave. They ended up comping the drinks, as they should, but by then it was already later in the evening. Since it kept getting later and we had family with us from out of town, we had to settle for takeout elsewhere instead of the nice sit-down dinner we had planned. We understand that things can go wrong, but being completely overlooked for over an hour with little communication or accountability was extremely frustrating. Sadly, the service alone was enough to ruin the experience for our family. I hope management takes this seriously so this doesn’t happen to other customers but after reading the other low reviews it seems that the only thing they’re consistent with is horrible service. With that being said we absolutely will not be back/order take out from either location. 🙂

I have yet to eat a meal here that we don’t like! The service is always outstanding and the menu is affordable. My husband is a police officer and when we go out as a family while he is in uniform he looks for places that are safe for all of us with him. We love going here because they are always so kind and respectful to him and all of us. Many occasions the owner himself comes to greet him. Thank you for making us feel safe and able to enjoy a delicious peaceful meal.

Ask for the White Pizza 4 cheese ufff Ray is the owner and he is more than happy to help also Liliana and her daughter All of them provide great service and food! Love the ambience and easy parking! Lots of people but fast service for a December Saturday!!! Clean restrooms! You get to see part of the kitchen that means they provide quality control and clean food! Anyways this is my 4 fourth time in 5 years hopefully next year I get to get back! Stay safe and thanks!

We came for lunch during the week. As always the food was great! Our group ordered pasta primarily.
The only disappointment was our service. The restaurant was only about 1/3 full and we came before 11:30. Sitting down to getting the bill was about 1 1/2 hours with the food coming out fairly quickly. It could have been because they were short on wait staff. We will be back. Maybe it was just an off day.

If you’re looking for great or even good customer service go somewhere else. Probably anywhere else. I had an order i called in at 4pm and was told it would take 25 minutes. I arrived at about 4:30 to pick up my order to be told it would be ready in a few minutes because they were waiting on my pizza. A cheese pizza. Finally at 5:30 i requested a refund for my food becausei was stillwaiting. During that time they brought out my food. By that time all I wanted was my money back. I didn’t even get a simple apology for having to wait for so long. They did nothing to try to make it better. I’ve been here many many times but will not be returning. This place has gone to the crapper.

Usually don’t like to do bad reviews but we got excited about the pizza here. We got several pizzas and there was NEVER an issue. Until yesterday, we got our usual which is pepperoni with black olives. Firstly, the olives are not black olives. They were something else, tangy tasting and gross. Secondly, they were not sliced like they usually were. They were thrown on the pizza whole. Third, there was SO MUCH grease on this pizza, the cheese just slid off and the box was SOAKED. We called the manager & she apologized and said no problem, come back in a day or 2 for a remade pizza on us. We call back 2 days later and speak to another man who says the manager isn’t there. He Argues with my husband saying that the reason the pizza was greasy was because it was left for too long which is untrue. I’m not about arguing for free stuff but when you make a mistake and a manager offers to correct it, it should be honored. Don’t think we will be back.

Is crazy that you can pay almost 50 dollars and they dont give napkins or forks how im supposed to eat my food this was my first time there and probably my last first impressions matter a lot not to mention the contents of the food was starting to spill if you like your food very hot this is the place to go but for me at that price range and not getting the bare minimum is kinda insulting and the chef and cooks is not their fault but this completely ruined the experience
