Really nice place with great atmosphere and right next to the pier. Came by for lunch and had the cheesy birria quesadilla and the birria beef burrito. The food was fantastic and portions quite big with good pricing for the area. They have a chip “bar” with salsa, jalapenos, and cilantro onion mix. The chips were quite good too but salsa a bit too watery but had a good flavour nonetheless. You do have to order at the counter and prepay but they do bring the food to your table.

This is the ideal spot to grab a drink and hang out with the boys after a day on the beach. Right next to the pier, with awesome food and drink specials. Got a massive beer for only a dollar more on happy hour. I always enjoy a place with bottomless chips and salsa! The carne asada was greatly, with the salsa on the side, not splashed on top all messy. 10/10 recommend

What a fun spot. It’s a bit deceiving at a glance. I wasn’t expecting the food to be good. I ordered the tacos, guacamole w/ chips. The flavors were delicious. My son ordered the steak skillet, and from I could tell it was good since he devoured it. Beer was cold, vibe was good and the salsa bar was a nice touch.

I visited your club on Saturday, February 9th around 3–4 PM with three friends. We came to the bar to order drinks. None of us were drunk in fact, this was going to be our first drink of the day, and we were completely respectful.
When the bartender came to take our order, I politely said that I would like four Vodka Red Bulls. Before I could even finish my sentence, she interrupted me in a very rude and aggressive tone and said: “You need to say PLEASE so I can bring your drink, otherwise I won’t serve you.”
I was honestly shocked by the way she spoke to me. I had not been disrespectful in any way. Despite feeling uncomfortable, I still said “please, thank you.”
Her name was (ALANA)
After that, she brought our drinks, but her behavior remained unprofessional. She grabbed my bank card out of my hand without asking for permission, which I found extremely inappropriate and disrespectful.
I believe this is not the correct way to treat customers. We were calm, sober, and respectful, and there was absolutely no reason for us to be treated this way. The entire interaction felt very disrespectful and left me feeling upset and uncomfortable.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because customer service and basic respect should always come first

Sharkeez at Newport Beach is a great place to watch football and enjoy great drinks and food. It’s located right at the Pier and they have a Farmers Market on Sundays. Ryan and the the staff are amazing and would recommend coming here for a relaxing and fun time.

7 YEARS AGO TO NOW PEOPLE AGREE THIS PLACE NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT & WORKERS! HIRE NICE HELPFUL HAPPY HUMANS not LAZY UNHAPPY tenders. Food is absolutely amazing—5 stars for the cuisine! The atmosphere can be hit or miss, depending on who’s there. It often attracts a preppy crowd, which may not be everyone’s vibe.

However, the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The staff at the front and the bartenders seem disengaged—they often ignore customers, walk past without acknowledgment, and talk primarily among themselves. It feels like they’re more “chilling” than working. Friendly, attentive staff would make a huge difference. Some of the female staff can come across as snobby, and the male staff can seem arrogant as well.

If the service improved, this place would be perfect. 10/10

My favorite place to hit up when visiting Newport Beach! The beer is cold and the happy hour menu is legit. The parking can be tight, but the atmosphere is worth it.

Love this place. Just got there too late to enjoy the food as the kitchen was closed. I did however enjoy a nice white shark margarita.

Tacos were very good. Atmosphere was nice. Fun little place to eat. Prices were just a tad high but,……..had a shrimp taco, chicken taco and street corn. Definitely liked to shrimp taco over the chicken. Beers were cold and you get unlimited , serve yourself , chips and salsa.
