Cute little spot and delicious food. We dropped by for a late lunch on a Sunday. The place was quiet and we sat at the top beside the open windows in the sun which was so pleasant. The agedashi tofu was the highlight! We ordered a second portion after the first one. We also ordered the yaki udon and karaage.

The spicy calamari was so great. next time I want to order three order of calamari and eat it by myself , the wasabi mayo on the side was also lit!!. First of all, it was very enjoyable to eat here after a long time, I definitely recommend you to try the spicy calamari as an appetizer, I wish it was served as a main course. Then we ordered chicken karaage, it was also very tasty I forget to take a photo when the plate was full, the chicken was as soft as cotton. For dinner, we ordered beef tendonloin bibimbap, everything was delicious. it was very filling, we walked for 4 hours in Gastown and still weren’t hungry after this meal. Definitely come back!! Next time we want to try beef tataki.

Their lunch specials are affordable and tasty. The service for lunch time on the weekday wasn’t like dinner. There’s only one staff on the dining area and she always disappears. No water refills at all until we asked for it at the very end. No big deal since the lunch was so cheap and we didn’t expect any service. Still going back for food. Recommend.
