Right across from my hotel, in was lively and energetic atmospher and staff with lightning fast service. The pancakes where just what I needed on a cold morning. And the spicy parlando omelet had me ready for the day. Delicious!

This is a good IHOP! Never busy around 5pm. The staff is very friendly and very professional. Colin was our server and went beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our visit. Clean and comfortable IHop. Will be back.! The Wednesday night Burger special is great!!

This is the very best IHOP we have been to in many years. We were so impressed with the food and service. We couldn’t believe that this was an IHOP since they were known for terrible service. We had to go back for breakfast to make sure that this IHOP was for real. We suggest that IHOP corporate use this location in Elizabeth City, NC as an example of how an IHOP should be operated. Thanks to the Manager, Janet and her talented staff.

Went for breakfast. It was super busy, but we were seated quickly. Our order was taken soon after being seated and the food came out timely and correct. Our waitress was wonderful and attentive even though it was a packed restaurant.

Place is a joke. Food Luke warm. Tasted like it had been sitting under a lamp for awhile. Very dry and non flavorful. Managers and servers sit in back booths chatting and on phones. Smells like sour milk. Needs a cleaning and some better employees who actually want to work. This is family owned but if this was my family legacy I’d get new managers and fix this restaurant

Pancakes were not fresh and burnt called to speak to Manager Ms. Hannah with the worse customer service ever tells me ,’You should of check your food before you left” What kind if Manager tells a customer that. Then when I put her in check once to hang up the phone on me, just sad. I wanted my money back not a replacement poor service.

Awful. Just plain awful. Biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs had what looked like 1 egg, and it came out a full 7 minutes after the rest of the food.
Wife order the Big Steak omelette without has browns. Server informed us our food would be a bit.linger as they put hash browns in her omelette and we’re reamking it. It still came out with hash browns in it.
The appetizer sampler was cold and I asked for marinara sauce 3 times and never received it.
The coffee tasted watered down and was room temperature, and I’m not entirely sure it wasn’t taken off one table and dropped off at ours. An empty coffee caraffe from the previous diners stayed on our table ubtil after we ordered when my daughter moved it to another table waiting to be bussed.
The server, while kind, spoke far too softly to be heard in the packed establishment, and after realizing we had problems with out orders, walked past our table 4 separate times not giving us any information or fixing our issues, and even helped 2 other servers take care of their tables still leaving us missing 1 meal, having 1 meal made wrong, another meal missing part of the items it was supposed to have (2 pancakes missing from the 2+2+2), and still waiting for the marinara for the cold appetizer sampler.
The manager gladly heard my concerns and loved the two meals from the ticket and informed us our server was still new and learning. I feel she needs more time as a tag-along before being let go on her own tables.
The entirety of our experience was pretty dissatisfying and disappointing.

I’m not sure who the cook was on this day 3/31/24 but that person definitely need more training or under pressure due to it being Easter. My food was ice cold especially my eggs, eggs wasn’t cooked properly egg whites was runny. These aren’t IHOP pancakes, tasted horrible. Bacon was perfect
