Shupe’s on the Boardwalk is a fun bar in the heart of Christiansted. A perfect spot for casual waterfront dining with unbeatable views of the harbor! Easy to stumbled across it while strolling the boardwalk and end up staying for hours.
The open-air setup right on the water creates such a relaxed, vibrant atmosphere, especially as the sun sets.
The menu keeps it simple but executes it well: freshly ground burgers made in-house with high-quality, never-frozen beef are juicy and flavorful. Build your stack with toppings like bacon, grilled onions, and truffle mayo. Pair with hand-cut fries (try their garlic-Parmesan version!), chicken wings, and hot dogs, everything is made-to-order and served fresh.

Every time the wife and I go to st croix this is the must stop. Food is great sometimes one order good for the both us. Bar tenders Jesse and Matt 4 thumps up. Drinks hit the spot. Both wife and I now have a favorite place to go to relax and enjoy the life. Can’t wait to head back.

Fun atmosphere with a cool vibe right on the boardwalk. It’s nice that Shupe’s stays open later than most restaurants on Saint Croix. The drinks are not exactly crafted but that doesn’t matter when you are drinking rum cocktails. There is plenty of rum with a generous pour. I believe the burger was a frozen Bubba’s burger purchased frozen from Walmart but it tasted ok. The fries were greasy but in a good way.

I understand why this is a local hang out! Great food, friendly bartenders, and an incredible view. The food is basic, but good and the pour with a heavy hand. If I lived in St. Croix, this would be my cheers.

In a great spot on the boardwalk with views of the water. The service was good. We had no idea they just serve burgers really. Kind of “fast food” to-go style even though you are eating inside. Comes in a brown bag for you to take out of the bag to eat. The burger was good. You really only need a single patty since they are a good size. The fries were ok. A pile of shoestring fries stuck together in the bag. A bit too greasy for my liking.

The location is beautiful and the view is masterful. I sort of expected a dive bar but was quickly seeing the quality in the food also not just prime location to have a meal. My cheeseburger was FaaaaanTastic! They have a simplified ordering process. The staff was friendly and clearly enjoyed working there. Places like this make me want to move here. The price was reasonable and the food was delicious. I probably won’t eat dinner after this lunch.
