what a fantastic restaurant super clean the burgers were incredibly good and the french fries were the absolute best shade crunchy hot and extremely flavorful because of the beef tallow. Breast-fed Wagyu absolutely these burgers were top-notch real bacon as well. Little bit cumbersome at first to get the check-in placing your order for five people on the big screen but by the second person it actually went pretty easy everything went really smooth

Stopped at this location for lunch today, hit the drive thru. The girl working the window was very sweet. The food was honestly the best steak and shake I’ve ever had. It was so so so good. Ive been thinking about it all day. Our fries and onion rings were hot, crispy and so flavorful and the sandwiches were even better.

I was really excited to try the new beef tallow fries, im saddened to say that they had zero difference in flavor or texture from a typical fast food fry, i seen a distinct lack of the parmesan garlic flavored fries which was a huge reason alot of people ate here before they closed last time, the diner vibe is completely gone, and the food is extortionate in price. For two people we spent just over 40$ and only the last bite of my burger tasted seasoned, steak n shake now is just a sterilized version of the old restaurant we knew and loved. Almost all booths were dirty as well.

Before the pandemic destroyed everything, this was one of the my favorite places to enjoy a late night treat. Burger and fries for 4.99 yes please. The Colerain location opened up recently as almost all of them closed in our area. I’ve been several times since it opened and they haven’t disappointed! Burgers are hot, fresh and juicy. If you are ANYWHERE near the Colerain area. Stop and check them out.

Food was good. The young white girl who gave me my food seem like she had an attitude even tho she appeared to look really nice. Also I walked in and had to wait a couple minutes to be acknowledged. Bathrooms were really dirty and water barely comes out the sink. It’s not hard to give eye contact and fake smile you never know who’s first time it is

We went through the driveway thru a couple days ago and picked up a fairly large order. Two of the 8 steak burgers we ordered we missing. No biggie, I just called and explained what happened and sent my husband back to the store. They made it right with zero issues. The food was delicious and the service was amazing! Was really craving a nice steak burger and came here expecting it to be like the one in Oakley but it was way worse all the tables were dirty I didn’t want tomatoes and there was tomatoes on my burger and my burger was drenched in grease my partner got a strawberry milk shake just for it to taste like strait strawberry syrup the whipped cream felt and tasted like play dough and the cup was filthy and had black gunk caked on the inside

The process of ordering food was easy ! Love the new set up ! The food was hot and fresh with excellent portion sizes . Employees ,Frank and Mohammed , need to be recognized for the hard work they dedicate to this company .

As a manager myself , the female manager for lunch was a little demanding to her staff. Yelling as if it was a sporting event . “ Is this shake done yet ?! I need a melt to the window now !” After the items were completed, no “ thank you “ or “ great job everyone “ was offered . This is a quick way to drop team morale. I would’ve loved to hear the employees get recognition as it was extremely busy during lunch time .

I have a hard time really deciding how many stars I should give this place. Given recent reviews, I came in expecting the worst, but my brother was insistent on coming for nostalgic purposes. The Stake ‘n Shake I went to growing up was a sit-down restaurant with waiters, but this place is run more like a fast food joint. You order at a kiosk and then sit down and wait for them to call your name. The place wasn’t especially clean, but it wasn’t especially dirty either. My brother watched the workers handling raw meat and hamburger buns without washing hands or switching gloves, which really isn’t excusable, and is why I am hesitant to give the stars I’ve given. We ate the food regardless, and it was fine. There were very large onion slices on my burger, which worried me, but it actually tasted good. The shakes were very thin, and my husband’s KitKat shake didn’t seem to have any KitKat in it. It’s not a place I would want to hang out in.
