We live almost 2 hours from Mikomi Sushi but whenever we are in the area it is our go to restaurant. I have had many of their selections but my favorite so far is the Double Albacore Roll. Their menu is wonderful, service very friendly and efficient and great prices. Check them out next time you are in the area. Thanks again Mikomi Sushi and see you soon.

Got together with some friends for dinner. We found this sushi place in Monrovia. Got a table outside. Waitress was nice. Food came out fast despite how busy they were. Had some appetizers, sushi rolls and a sashimi platter. Food was good! Other than a few obnoxious patrons walking by, dinner was good. Next time we would get table inside.

A nice hidden gem in Monrovia that turned out to be full of people even though the restaurant is quite big. The sushi and sashimi they used were very fresh. Delicious modern japanese food! I carried some to-go and the raw fish made it home safely. Their lunch deal price is great. It starts from like $13++ which is a great price for the area. And adding sides etc still remains under $20ish. The seating inside was cool on a hot day which was very comfy!

Graduation dinner. Food was good. Atmos is soso. Service was not good. First they sat 12 people on a table that only had 10 chairs. Then kept asking for last call when we hadn’t ordered yet. Then asked again for last order when I didn’t yet get my food.

They have a robot that brings your food to you and the sushi is very good. Sophie is a great server and she even looked out for a missing ingredient on my sushi roll that I didn’t notice.

We’ve been dining with Mikomi for many years, even before they move to the current Monrovia location. We still love their sushi, rolls, and sashimi after so many years.
They used to have much better sushi chef service, where we would regularly get specials treatment to better portions etc. I guess that’s part of growing and now with four stores, you loose touch with old customers. Disappointing.

Excellent service! We had 3 servers the whole time. The sushi was fresh and tasted amazing. The restaurant is very clean. The portions were very large.

Let’s start by saying they have robots! So fun! This is a great place for families. And has become a tradition for mine. We are always happy with the food and the service. They have something for everyone, from the pickiest sushi eaters to the no sushi believers. The servers are patient and efficient. They have happy hour specials. And yes they may even bring you a plate or two via a robot.
It is such a joy to see my 70 year old dad giggle when his favorite dish of Shrimp and Veggie Tempura is brought to him by a robot! They serve good sized portions and offer a non fussy atmosphere.

He was so enthusiastic, answered our ambush of questions, was able to speak to omakase and ensured I was presented it the way I requested; absolutely handled us with such care. I highly recommend coming here when u are craving Japanese food and ask to be seated at one of Jacob’s tables. He will make ur dining experience the best!!!
