We came to Ocha Restaurant in Renton for dinner with a party of 10, and overall it was a great experience. The place was pretty crowded at night, so I’d definitely recommend making a reservation for dinner, especially with a large group.
Our waitress was very patient and accommodating while we placed our orders, which we really appreciated. There were a lot of good options on the menu, making it hard to choose. We ordered the pad see-ew, crispy garlic chicken, and the khao krob gai salad — which was the star dish for me. Everything was flavorful and satisfying.
A solid spot for Thai food and a great choice for group dinners.

Portions are generous and the dishes have great wok hei, dishes are well seasoned and the ingredients are all fresh. But be prepared for a longer wait time, especially during peak hours, but the food is worth it.
Recommended: Crab fried rice is a standout, very flavorful and loaded with crab. The golden noodles are also excellent. In general, anything that’s stir-fried comes out really well here. The mango sticky rice is another highlight, it’s seasonal, so make sure to ask the staff if it’s available.

Met up with friends at Ocha for dinner before seeing a show at Renton Civic Theater (it’s a 7min walk to the theater!). I was surprised at how nice this restaurant was! We were seated right away, Thip was our server and helped us with ordering. We had lots of questions! Ended up getting Phad Thai with prawns, crispy chicken (the best! Ours was not dry at all!), pineapple rice and potstickers (crispy fried just how I like them!)
Food was delicious, large portion sizes, excellent service, reasonable prices. Bonus it is near the theater. We will be back!

Very tasty, with good-sized portions. We ordered “mild” since there was a child in our group and it was still flavorful. The citrus cheesecake for dessert (pictured) was fabulous.
Very child-friendly — waitress brought us a high chair, water cup with straw and lid, and paper/plastic-ware without being asked.
Starter came right away but the main course was a little slow.
It was chilly on a 37-degree November night. Best to pick a table away from the door.

Try the pineapple pork fried rice, chicken panange curry, and finish with the mango sticky rice! Food was amazing and authentic. Took us back to Phuket with the flavor. The spicy level is from 1-5 but can go as hot as 20. 1 was plenty enough for us! This is a 2 hour drive to get here but willing to do it again.

I’ve been here before and would rave to others about their Crispy Garlic Chicken, but when I had it this time, the chicken was dry and drenched in sauce to try and help it out.
The appetizer was deep fried deliciousness. Definitely a must if you can’t decide which appie to get.
I tried the signature cocktail, the Passionfruit Refresher. I had to doublecheck to be sure they gave me the right drink because it didn’t have any crystal boba and the flavor was weird. I would not order that again, I didn’t finish it.

This spot was very unexpected. I have a go to Thai place for over 20 years, but they close at 9. Ended up finding this place and truly was impressed. We will be back!!

Had a craving for for Thai and decided to check this place out. Interior was nice. Ordered a beer and appetizer and the Beef Pad see ew. The lady forgot to put in the order for my beer and I didn’t even get it until after the main course came out. The fresh rolls were just ok. Tasted like the just wrapped up bagged salad. The peanut sauce was good though. The pad see ew noodles were so overcooked we couldn’t eat it. They were straight mush. We had to send it back and got the crispy garlic chicken. Then the chicken came out and was so dry we couldn’t finish that either. Maybe they did it on purpose cause we sent the first one back. Overall, Super disappointing. 22 bucks for that? No way!!! And it didn’t even come with white rice. I know everything is expensive these days, but no white rice with all that? C’mon now! I’ve had better Thai at a random corner lot in a strip mall. Sorry to say but I dont really recommend this place.

We recently visited Ocha Thai Kitchen & Bar in Renton for our workplace Christmas celebration, and it was a fantastic experience! Some of our group traveled about an hour to get there, and it was absolutely worth the trip.
First, the food was outstanding. Everything was ready on time, served hot, and there was plenty to go around. The flavors were delicious—perfectly balanced and not overly spicy, though they provided spicy sauces on the side for those who wanted an extra kick. Their vegetarian options were excellent, making it easy for everyone in our group to find something they loved.
The service was equally impressive. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. The restaurant itself was clean and beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that added to the festive feel of our celebration.

Fast service. Kid friendly and plenty of seating. They take your payment at your table. It was difficult to find parking but food was amazing. I recommend the Pad See Ew and yellow curry. The yellow curry was very spicy but delicious. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any mango sticky rice. And they don’t do any desserts to go.
