One of the worst experiences today. To anyone who ordered on 7/26/2025 or plans on going for future reference please check your drinks. I ordered sweet tea and noticed a bunch of dead ants at the bottom of my cup. Called to speak with a manager and they tried to refund me for my drink or get another item. I live 15 mins away and don’t plan on wasting my gas just for two dollars. I got a bunch of sorry’s but I truly do wonder how many other individuals drank ants.

The Afton Village McDonalds can screw up as many orders as they like, because I’ll never be back to suffer them. Christmas Eve morning I special ordered a plain egg biscuit, no meat or cheese, but they gave me a regular egg McMuffin! (which I could eat none of because it touched that nasty Canadian bacon) Worse yet, they wouldn’t make good on it when I went back, though the male manager I spoke to that morning said they would. The crappy attitude of the female manager I dealt with when I returned, sealed it for me. I’ll never be back.

At this place they ignored my order. My order number was 1680 and they kept serving up to 1686, but mine wasn’t served. When they finally gave it to me, it wasn’t even what I had ordered. I waited 30 minutes and the manager never did anything. 02/22/2026

After renewing the inside it gave us a feeling of pick up only. The inside feels unwelcoming. First, they moved the fountain drinks to the inside of the kitchen. To get a refill, the associate had to get a manager to approve it. Food is served in their brown to go bags even though I said it is for “dine in”. So my family and I basically ate it off of the brown bag. I asked for the gold or golden sauce, she charged me 29 cents for that. I remember when sauces were free. Basically, the inside is not a happy place anymore and not geared for a family to sit down and eat together.

It’s a good McDonald’s location. You know what you’re getting. Drive thru moves fast. Orders typically correct. Food seems cooked fresh. Staff is good for a McDonald’s.

Does not have changing tables in the bathrooms, which for a family oriented restaurant is very strange. Also, one of the kiosk was broken.
Food was fine, well staffed, and efficient.

Let me just say I came to get a meal my son and I. We went through the drive through and the lady was very impatient and rude. This is around 2:15 pm on August 11th 2025. I ordered a happy meal first and when I was done with that first meal I was in the middle of mentioning my next meal and she cut me off while I was speaking and said “Anything else?”. The service was horrible and the employees need to do better.
