Great food at Zia Taqueria! Honestly cheaper — and in my opinion, better — than Chipotle.
We went to the one on the outskirts of Durango (didn’t make it to the other location), and the customer service there was incredible. Friendly, fast, and everything was fresh.
We will definitely be going again next time we’re in town!

Zia is a staple of Durango. The food is high quality and reasonably priced, not to mention delicious. They offer daily meat specials (Thursday Carnitas is my favorite) and have a nice upstairs bar. Zia is also very involved in the local community, helping out many different youth programs and buying produce and meat from local farmers and ranchers. I eat here at least once a week. Happy to support them.

Clean, flavorful food, great views, and friendly staff. Imagine eating delicious food with an amazing scenery surrounding you. The staff were so nice and professional. The Baja tacos were a great balance of flavor. I usually don’t go for fried fish but I am glad I did. They give you a lot of protein with the order. The tortillas used didn’t fall apart and my protein stayed inside for the most part ( there was a nice portion of protein so some did fall out). The wahoo tacos are great for anyone who has a hungry appetite. They were piled up! The mango salsa has a nice kick and the flavor was complex but good! The ingredients paired well together. The last place I had pretty good fish tacos was in Texas (almost 2 years ago); I was excited to finally eat some flavorful fish tacos.

Long time lover. Pretty disappointing when you make an online order at 5:03 and they tell you to pick it up at 5:45 and you show up and it hasn’t even been started. Time for some time management training. If your not gonna make it happen dont accept online orders. Pretty disappointing when you have hungry kids waiting for dinner and you have already left an online tip. Do better! You guys have tons of loyal customers.

Food was fresh and pretty tasty. The regular burrito is a decent size the large order of nachos is more than enough for most. All of the styles of chicken were good along with the carne asada. Would happily return.

Love rice bowls, so that is what I had. I ordered guacamole and got two and was charged for two, so I’m not happy with that. We went up to the top floor patio, so the atmosphere was good. The tables were solar panels, as you can see in the pictures, along with the roof.

In terms of the downstairs food line: the chicken was super dry and the staff was surly. One rolled his eyes when I asked a question. I felt like I was in a Seinfeld skit. I think staff members might have been arguing. The only person that made eye contact was the cashier. It was so funny, there must have been something else going on.
I went at the same time as all the little gymnastic students next door were coming to eat. They all knew their order and I had never been there before. But I only asked ONE question.

We were searching for a Chipotle restaurant, to use a gift card. This place came up, and it’s better. I’m impressed with the ingredients available, in a make-to-order experience like Chipotle and Subway have, for very reasonable prices.
