Fantastic place to escape the tourist and eat real food (not pub food) Probably because it’s so easy to drive by and totally not see this restaurant. Can be hit or miss based on who’s cooking but usually it’s always good. Cozy seating and one television in the bar area for sports. Recommend the oysters on half shell, the crab cakes, the seared duck, the cheese burger and their salads tasty. You won’t find a bar or restaurant in Pacific City that makes a better martini or bloody mary..!

An excellent alternative to the local pub food. The menu provides a variety of selections for a delightful 4 course dinner. The oysters were fresh, the beet salad had a light dressing, the duck was perfectly prepared, the risotto the best I have had outside of Italy and the salmon was succulent. The wine suggested perfectly paired with our meal. A true gem in this little coastal town. My one regret is I Did not have room for the bananas foster.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. We started with the steamed clams (the best) and rosemary shoestring fries, we then split the halibut, and finished with a simply elegant hazelnut creme brulee. Definitely the best seafood in the area, and beyond that, amazing French cuisine. Go here!!!! Especially to split an entree as a couple. The price is worth every bite.

We were seated, sneered at, told what the special was and then completely ignored as our server seated a group of four next to us and proceeded to lavish attention on them. Us-unassuming, late twenties; them-early fifties and reeked of pomposity (not to mention cheap cologne).
Finally, we were presented with a 2nd server. We had already decided not to eat because of the service.
Both were condescending when we told them we would take our drinks in the bar because their limited menu barely contained seafood (no shellfish other than in a curry-is this the new fad???) and we were not going to eat, but did not want to take up dining space.
The bartender was respectful, attentive and received a great tip for calling another restaurant close by and asking what was being served and making sure that we got in before they closed.
We will never recommend this place and hope that the next time they treat younger customers this way, the customers have a couple more drinks in them and tell the service to shove it.

We had planned a birthday dinner for 10 , weeks in advance, with family members travelling from all over the West for an 80th birthday. Hours before dinner , they cancelled our reservation citing staffing problems.
Pretty poor show.

Always exceptional food. Higher class than anything else in the area, and friendly waiters. There is a great wine, drink, and beer selection as well.

We were excited to try this place out based on their menu, but they’re closed until further notice. There’s nothing on their website or their google page that lets you know, they just have signs out on their door and windows.
