Was very curious about Kelly’s post-PE acquisition. I’ve been coming to the Danvers location since it opened. Typically, always amazing.
I’m not sure if all locations have declined, but Danvers is noticeable. Honestly would have been two stars, but the Frappes still seem to be the same as they were.
Fries have been changed & Grilled Cheese was mediocre at best. Three stars is absolutely generous, unfortunately.

This place gets a lot of hate, especially since the new ownership has taken over. Tonight the beef was perfect. Frank the manager took my order. I asked for a rare beef and he delivered! Food was hot and fresh. Thank you Frank!

We’ve been to Kelly’s, 25 years ago. We had an expectation and certainly looked forward to this visit. The food was 4 star easily. Healthy portions, fresh and good flavor. The roast beef is just that, roast beef with a bun. Nothing comes with it that you won’t be paying for. That leaves a fairly bland sandwich but the roast beef was fairly flavorful. The lobster roll, also healthy portion and this was tasty. Onion rings sweet as can be and the chili fries, not bad but not running back for these. The outside area was clean and the tables in good repair. The greeter/ordertaker could have used a smaller or personality but it’s forgiving. The menu has no prices! That should really be the first sign. The increased cost in eating out today is unfortunately not met with an increase in effort to make the food you’re receiving more flavorful or fresh. Lunch for two at $63 bucks. I’m pretty sure they could do that more cost effectively. It a new owner recapturing their investment and frankly the customer is the victim. I’m all for business capitalizing their profits, but this is a bit much…. Not sure if we’d bother with a return here.

Just tried a roast beef sandwich at Kelly’s Danvers. Sorry, but not even close to as good as Bill & Bobs or Maria’s in Beverly Center.
The fact is, Maria’s is FAR BETTER in quality, quantity and price than both Kelly’s and Bill & Bobs. They pack their sandwiches with delicious lean roast beef and shave it very thin. Maria’s is a smaller local-type restaurant, but you’ll never be disappointed with anything you order there! Excellent pizza, subs, and gyros, etc. Great staff and reasonable prices too.

Monday 02/16 @ 12pm. I pulled into grab a sandwich and drink. $20+ and I ordered a lg RB w/ sauce & mayo. I was served a sandwich on a dry and stale roll not even warm. The sandwich was thrown together with no meat on half the bun and the rest either in the container or on one side of the bun. Barely any sauce and even less mayo. The roast beef was cold dry and crunchy on the edges. More like yesterday’s left overs. Shame on you Kelly’s!

Waited in drive through line for almost 15 minutes, with no one else in line. One would think the food would be hot after all that time. Quite the contrary. The food has progressively gotten worse over years. This was one last try. Wow! Burger was cold and tasted like it was in window for hours. The soda was in desperate need of a change. Rare I review, but I want my money back.

This roast beef sandwich is the best. Had it three way with, mayo, provolone cheese and their house BBQ sauce. The roll is crusty but soft, covered with sesame seeds. Delicious! The restaurant has all these great old photos hung in the restaurant of attractions and places in and around the North shore. The help needs a little bit of training, but there was a attentive manager nearby to correct the mistake. This restaurant is clean with plenty of free parking, and there is a drive thru too!

Super friendly environment! I haven’t been in here in a few years but I recently started going back and the food tastes super fresh, the staff are inviting and it’s very clean. The bacon Cheese fries are the best and always my go too!
