LC’s Hamburgers is one of those true hidden gems. It’s a tiny, old-school hole-in-the-wall with only about five tables inside—very much a Town Topic–style vibe—and the food is top-notch. We’ve been here multiple times and finally had to leave a review.
We’ve tried a good variety of the menu, and everything has been excellent. The Double Westerner burger is amazing—two onion rings, grilled onions, and barbecue sauce come together perfectly. The mushroom Swiss burger is also really good, loaded with mushrooms and grilled onions.
The sides are just as impressive. The fried mushrooms are honestly some of the best I’ve ever had—the breading is incredible. The jalapeño hush puppies are great too, with just the right amount of kick without being overly spicy. We also tried the fried fish, and the breading was spot on—perfectly crispy with great flavor and fish goes very well with their tartar sauce.
Don’t skip dessert either—the pineapple and cherry shakes were both excellent. They also offer chicken and Philly options if burgers aren’t your thing.
It can get a little busy during lunch, but they keep things moving and get you in and out pretty quickly. If you’re a burger lover or just appreciate an old-school diner feel with outstanding food, this place is a must-try. Highly recommend.

This place is ranked highly for good reason. The burgers are perfect with a good sesame seed bun. The hidden gem is definitely the fried mushrooms. These mushrooms are battered and seasoned amazingly. These are without a doubt the best fried mushrooms I have ever had.

When you walk into LC’s it’s very small. I think there’s only five six tables that seat four.. you order at the counter and then pick up when they yelled your number
The hamburgers are delicious but they should be for the price. So price like five guys with a burger diameter like Sonic. But each Patty is thick like five guys. It tastes like a mixture of Chuck and sirloin most likely 50/50. I’d heard raise about the fries but they were just okay. Nothing to shout about. For my son and I we dropped $35 for 2x double cheeseburgers fries and a drink.

I haven’t been in SO long. The burgers were good and fries were better. The strawberry shake was fantastic and what I remembered. They charge a fee to use a credit card. You get a free drink if you order a sandwich and a side.

Well it’s end of a era for me. This use to be so good, but now hamburger was raw and fries over salted. Guess I should of stayed away and kept my memories the way they were.

Real deal burger joint. Food is made fresh to order. Beef piled high and actual strips of bacon cooked to crispy perfection.
They gave me a wide straw to drink the thick, creamy chocolate malt. So delicious!
The menu is full of options, including sides like onion rings, tots, fried mushrooms, and fried pickles.
If it’s crowded, there may be a short wait for the freshly made food. Worth the wait!

Really disappointed in this place today. My burger was COMPLETELY SATURATED in oil . So much that my bottom bun is turning clear and the bottom of my burger holder is filled with oil. What a waste of food and money. It also took a year to come here because the place is so dark we just thought it was always closed. I did call and let them know but still very upset about this. I’m not even supposed to have burgers. This was supposed to be a treat
