We were simply traveling through the area when we decided to stop off at some type of small town diner for a late breakfast. We found Jennie Rae’s and gave it a try. Wow! We were just hoping for average diner food but were absolutely delighted by how delicious everything was! The menu has some unique items as well. Our server, Sandy, was delightful! We will be traveling through again in March and look forward to returning. Well done to the team here!

You guys saved the day for my sick son who hasn’t wanted to eat in days. I told him hes going to the ER if he doesn’t eat and he chose jennie rae’s French fries as his “stay of out ER” meal and he loved them, as always. Also, best homemade jams/pies!

The place is very comfy and cute, our waitress was nice and she was on top of everything!! You get enough food tbh, nobody could finish what it was on our plate so we got some for home. I had and omelette with American fries, sausage and a biscuit, I didn’t really like the fries, they needed something… the omelette was great, so do the sausage and I didn’t eat the biscuit because I also got the cinnamon pancakes and I was disappointed because I thought I had gonna get something like cinnamon roll pancakes lmao, they just basically put some cinnamon syrup on top, they were big tho, I didn’t finish it by the way.

Good local breakfast here. Fast, friendly too. I tried the Chefs Mess, wife had the Open Mexican Omelet. Both good.

Just left from eating lunch here the food was really good the menu options were plenty. Very unique they have a hole spread of jams. The pancakes are massive spongy. Everything was well put together and only needed a Sprinkle of salt and pepper. Which in this day and age is not too bad at all. Now if y’all are ready for the most amazing part of this place in my opinion. Let’s talk about the coconut cream pie… it was so good I made a video about how good it was and then I made two more I just basically recorded myself eating this amazing slice of pie it’s a decent portion the flavor profile and ratio of whipped topping to coconut cream. The texture of the custard the fully crust that was perfectly baked you got to get a slice.

I stopped in going through to Laporte, food was delicious, and the staff was just wonderful! An air vent was blowing under our table, the bus boy saw that I was telling my friend about being cold and brought a covering over for it. The waitress was also soluch a sweetheart! Definitely stopping again on my way through!

Just left after having a great breakfast!! Hash-n-Out and Gone Country are awesome! Wrapped up our breakfast with coffee to go and took our payment from the table. Best service around is exactly why we always pick Jennie Rae’s!

This was my first time here. This is a quaint hometown breakfast and lunch restaurant in New Carlisle, Indiana. Our booth had comfortable seats and it was situated right over one of the heat ducts which made it
nice and warm the entire time we were there!. Our server was polite and checked on us often enough to keep our drinks filled. I had the BLT club sandwich which was a triple decker! It was grilled with butter on the outside slices of bread and the tomatoes were nice and ripe and it had ample bacon slices. It was actually the best BTL I’ve ever had! My husband had the BBQ pork sandwich and said it was very delicious. I highly recommend Jennie Rae’s for hometown good cooking!
