I try to stay loyal to local. But local has to also stay loyal to their customers. I ordered in good faith, picked up my whole Italian sub order and went home. The sub was barely cut in two, had what almost looked like a whole head of shredded lettuce and gobs of mayo. The meat as you can see was 3 VERY thin, no larger than a credit card each of ham and whatever the other 2 pieces were. Things are expensive now and I even stood by them when they raised their prices. But the 3 thin strips looked was like one slice of ham cut down the middle and shared with the other half of the sub. The bread was hard and over toasted. Ironically my daughter went to Waves in Hopewell and her sub, same price was hearty, neatly made and not trying to hide a strip of meat under tons of lettuce. I did remove most of the lettuce on the picture. I always liked Luca even bought gift cards for neighbors. No more!

Luca’s was fantastic. We had a group of about 25, we’re seated in the “banquet room,” and our waitress was SUPER! She was efficient, attentive (but not overbearing) and very professional. I know serving a group that large can be challenging, but she handled everything with care and precision. Many of us were wondering how she kept our orders straight!

A little noisy on a Sunday afternoon, as to be expected. Food came out quickly, server wasn’t all that friendly, but did her job. My mom got a gluten free pizza, it came with a little crumbled up straw wrapper on the tray. Gross. My dad and I both got pasta, salad came after about 10 minutes of waiting and the pasta came maybe 5 minutes later? Overall not bad food for the price I suppose.

Food was good. First time trying the Luca’s way Schiacciata. If you don’t like a lot of sauce on your pizza this is what you should order instead. Drinks were great. I had the Rum runner. Pours were generous on our wines. Our server Alex was attentive. It got really busy and packed for a weeknight. Took a while for our food to come out. Overall better than Rosas in Hopewell. I would come back. Pumpkin Cheesecake was sourced by Crumbs. Crumbs cheesecakes are the best.

Luca Italian Restaurant is absolutely amazing! The food is authentic, fresh, and full of flavor — you can really taste the quality in every dish. Beautiful restaurant. Good waiter. Worst margarita I have ever had. It was so sweet, tasted like pure sugar. Pizza was tasteless, felt like there was no seasoning. Wings were good but it said on the menu 20 for $20.99 I was charged $23.99 today. September 23rd 2022. I ask to speak to manager. He was apologetic and reduced our bill. It was my first time at Luca.

The issue was Alejandro offered chips or fries with my sub order. Yes the menu states comes with chips but the offer was made. When the check came a $4.50 up charge was added for the fries. When asked he stated fries were extra and he should’ve mentioned but figured we knew as he’d seen us there before (it was our first time).
Luis the owner came over and was adamant that it wasn’t listed on the menu but we asked for fries when stated it came with chips. Both owner and waiter were argumentative and unprofessional.
Highly recommend asking if anything is offered if there is an up charge because getting it handled was a hassle. Once it was decided the fries would be covered, Alejandro had a pissy attitude and tossed the receipt towards us once the bills were fixed.

I had the gluten-free deluxe pizza , wings and fries . Everything was delicious, I like that the wings weren’t fatty. The fries reminded of fries you’d get a food shop in Jamaica – great taste , right size and texture . I definitely recommend you have meals here . Outdoor seating was also great .

First I would like to say, I would love to give them a 5 star rating however I am unable to do so at this time. The reason I am giving it the 3 star rating is because I recently ordered an order via door dash. With my order, I received a salad. I did not eat the salad the same day but at it a couple days later. Note: the salad was in my fridge from the moment I received it until I ate it a couple days later. When I was about to eat my salad I noticed there was something black, after further observation and a few pics, I saw it was a bugs. I moved the lettuce around and notice many more bugs. I am very disappointed because I really enjoyed the last two visits at the restaurant.

The decor was warm and welcoming. Our server was very difficult to understand because of her strong accent. The food was pretty good. The fettuccine could have used some more flavor was a bit bland. My family enjoyed themselves. The floor was extremely slippery from what I’m assuming was possibly floor wax. It had rained but the floor was difficult to get traction on, slipped more than once.
